Raven:
I was spooked as I saw Crow's father suddenly infront of me. Z-Zorro. I studdered a little bit. He looked at me and said he needed to talk to me for a minute. I stepped out of the territory so we could talk in peace. We talked about basic life and how it was going so far. When Crow came up it was like I could see Zorro in Crow's soul. It almost brought me to tears but I kept strong and just kept talking.

I looked over and seeing the starnge stallion instinctively charged. I lowered my head ever so slightly aiming to head-but this stallion in the ribs.

Raven:
I reared at Genuine. Whining at him in warning, snorting and pawing the ground. Crow stood next to his dad and watched me. I charged Genuine. Get outta here! Can't you see we're talking! I snorted and turned back to Zorro who was looking at me like I had actually did a crime.

I neighed agressively and skidded to a halt flailing my forelegs. I bolted and ran off continuing to neigh in my agressive tone.

Raven:
I saw my old owner riding up on my mom. I whinnied happily and jumped with excitement. She put a rope and halter on Zorro and I nudged for Crow to go with them. My owner looked at me and said: Wait. I nodded and waited for her to come back with a trailer.

Raven:
When my owner came back she loaded Zorro and Crow into the trailer. She stopped and closed the door to the trailer and came over to me. Hugging my neck.

My Owner:
Good girl Raven. I love you. I hugged Raven tighter and Raven hugged me back in a sense. I could hear her nicker very very quietly.

Raven:
I love you too. I said quietly as if she could actually hear me. She pulled away from me patting my neck and hopped in her truck. She looked back after driving a couple feet and I reared up whinning to her. She smiled and waved goodbye to me. I stood there watching until she drove clean out of sight.

I watched in absolute horror as Raven let her own son be taken away. I chased after that trailer hoping I could get him out. That other stallion I didn't really care about, but Crow, we had a connection.

Genuine! What are you doing, Stop! I chased after him in full blown speed. I hadn't run this fast since last year. I stopped infront of him. Blocking his way so he couldn't run. What are you doing? He needs to be with them. Let him go Genuine. I was ready to chase him again if he didn't listen to me.

I took no notice to the mare standing in front of me. I just watched as the trailer disapeared around the bend with a hollow gaze. I stood there and kept watching, and then I began to run again.'Crow'! I cried racing on.

Raven & Nikki:
We both blocked Genuine. Leaving the other foals back at the territory. He can take better care of him than we can, he is his father! Me and Nikki said at the same time. We were talking about Zorro but then remembered everyone else. We both snorted.

I stopped and walked off barely noticing the mares surrounding me yet again. But this time I didn't head for the trailer. I headed off to somewhere else. Somewhere I'd never seen before. I let my own hooves carrie me farther until I reached the edge of a cliff.

Nikki:
I walked slowly back to the foals. Amber was gone and all that was left was sleeping Esperanza who claims she didn't hear anything. I looked around in desperation but I still couldn't find her. I ran up the distant mountains and stood on the very peak. I reared up whinning loud when I saw something moving, fast. It was a forest fire. I turned and bolted back, telling everyone about the fire, while trying to get Esperanza and Ruby somewhere where the fire couldn't get them.

Nikki:
I did what I could to keep the surving foals safe. I heard thundering hooves and looked up, other herds bolted straight through ours to the safety of the giant lake just beyond the mountains. I got up and followed, I could see Raven so I whinnied for her to keep pace with me.
