Anyone who has a relative (be it a son or daughter, niece or nephew, or a friend who has a kid) who falls into the age range of, ooooh, say 3-6 or so, will or SHOULD be able to relate to this, and feel this woman's pain. lol I have a niece who, at 4, is STILL singing "Let It Go", and spinning in slow circles as she does. And the pain...OY THE PAIN!

Lucky I don't have relatives that do this. At least none that I know of lol
Well, if even the director of the movie had to post a general apology to parents (serious or not), then it is clear that you are very lucky given that. lol

Here's a better way to access that first video I linked (in my original post). This is WORTH listening to, as it is HILARIOUS! (And anyone who has any measure of sanity can easily relate to this mother's pain. ROFLMAO)

And just think, with the sequel so obviously in the making, we'll probably get to hear it 1000 more times! FUN!! /sarcasm
Someone shoot me, I hate that song now, and Frozen is overrated.
You'll certainly get no argument from me. ROFL
And just a few days ago, while my family was all together for Easter, I once again caught my four-year old niece singing the freaking song. She STILL hasn't worked it completely out of her system yet. AAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!

Well the movie itself was very good overall. But the songs? I didn't think they were THAT memorable, to be honest... So I'm still at a loss over the huge success for these songs. To me, even The Princess & The Frog had better, more catchy songs.
I think it's the whole "CGI + fairy tale" thing that worked so well. I'm sure no one would have cared for the film if it hadn't been CGI, unfortunately.
That said, I'm glad to see this film getting some praise, because it still screams Disney, unlike some CGI things they did in the past.

Meh--that's one opinion. Justified, surely. But an opinion just like any others (supportive or not).
Personally, I my opinion lay squarely with the Honest Trailers video, and that poor mother in the other video I posted. ROFL Along with millions of others who justifiably poo-poo this movie. Disney has produced far great adaptations of old fairy tales...including Snow White, Bambi, The Fox and the Hound, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, etc.

Well, that's your opinion. Mine is that I like Frozen more than the old Disney princess fairy tales (never really liked them anyway, especially Sleeping Beauty which I find bland and uninteresting...)
But I really love the 90's ones like Beauty & The Beast and Aladdin, which I'd rank before Frozen.

I watched Frozen once with a friend of mine, and I didn't see what was so great about it. I mean, to be honest, I didn't pay that close attention to it, but from what I did see, it just seemed like a bunch of poorly thought-out ideas smashed into a hour long movie... I think what people love so much about the film is its soundtrack. There's just something about those songs that cause people to become obsessed.
There's going to be a "let It Go" night at the baseball stadium I live three blocks away from in a few weeks. I hope they don't decide to blast the soundtrack over the loudspeaker... I'll pray for rain.
