intentional or coincidental? i know that tlk was released a year before balto, so i kinda believe they must have at least took some sort of inspiration during character development.

...What exactly do you find similar between the two films?

just the characters, nothing else. when i first watched it as a kid, i observed, and noticed lots of similarities between them. if you still can't see, here's a good example
