I am posting this because I noticed DreamWorks's official Spirit website's link to information on
the Real Spirit, which can be found under ABOUT THE FILM>TRAILERS & IMAGES>REAL LIFE SPIRIT is a dead link (it leads to "Page not found").
So, long story short, I used Google to produce these links. I found photos of Spirit (the reference model), the fact that he was born in 1995 (and is now 17 years old), and also the fact that DreamWorks donated him in 2002 (10 years ago). There are also more photos of Spirit on the organization's Facebook page.
