Back Story: Alex came from a different school, already carrying his outcast identity. He was bullied to the point of moving schools. Through the summer, he latched onto his identity as an artist, dying his hair and working hard to perfect his skills. Once school started he continued to be the object of bullying for his effeminate and soft demeanor. This didn't surprise him one bit, but he had his identity to draw strength from. For a while, he could deal with things alright. He also found peculiar friendship in a girl one year older, Haruko. Once she heard word of Brody's team, she convinced him to join right in.

Personality: Haruko is a passionate soul. She puts her whole being into what she does, no matter what that would be. She can be a compassionate friend or a frightening, vengeful enemy. An overwhelming person to debate with, she finds it difficult to detach from her views and she doesn’t really have any sort of verbal filter. Still, she enjoys putting her opinions out there. In fact, she's quite a loud person, and her commentary frequently fills the room. Haruko can be a bit of a know-it-all, but she has the right to it: she can get completely engrossed with a subject and learn a bunch of trivia in a short period of time. When she’s interested in something, she gets tunnel-vision.

Back Story: Haruko found it hard to fit in from day one. She stood out too much, always loud and opposing the status quo. This resulted in getting bullied but eventually she found friends too, mostly in the kids she stood up for when they were being put down. Though an excellent student academically she’d cause mischief wherever she went and would always rebel loudly against what she thought was wrong. In fact, Haruko started hanging out with kids who didn’t belong, thieves and growing criminals. Her parents began to worry about her reputation and moved her to a more prestigious school as soon as they could, almost against her will. Alone again, she did what always worked best: leech onto the outsiders and hope they’d appreciate her. And there was no better candidate than Alex Lazarov.
