This topic was done on the french side, I thought this was interesting enough :)

What do you think would be your job?
What kind of animal would you be?
What kind of relationship to the original characters (if any?)

----

I think I would be a head of a company, like Khan. Maybe a competitor  And I think I could be either a tiger like Khan or a jaguar or...a cat ^^

I think I would like to be a sky pirate and my character would probably be some sort of dog.

I could always relate to Sgt. Dunder in that I outwardly bow down to authority but I inwardly have a secret rebellious streak. (Like Sgt. Dunder listens to Broadcast Sally illegally.) Guess that would make me a good Thembrian warthog, and perhaps I'd be a scientist in the QA/QC department of the gruel factory making sure the gruel was safe for consumption. As long as I don't have to taste it.

I picked "other", partly because I couldn't make up my mind.

If I wasn't pursuing my current career path, I'd be a paleontologist without a second thought. Finding dinosaurs and piecing together the past would be awesome. I'd also like to be a pilot because I've always been fascinated with planes (which I can trace back to watching Talespin as a kid!).

Someone once told me that my animal counterpart should be a prairie dog, which would work out if I was a paleontologist. Either that or a fox.

I'd like to cross paths with Baloo and Kit once and awhile at Louie's. And Don Karnage, at least once, because I'd love to match wits with him (and hug him at the risk of hanging by pinkies). Unless I found some sort of ancient treasure, he'd probably leave me alone though.

She would most likely be a bear and the daughter of a wealthy company. The company would secretly transport magical items to various vaults around the world. Her family would pride themselves on being masters of fire magic. Her mother is a bit sociopathic and her sister is rambunctious. She is the go between between her mother and the outside world since her mothers is a recluse. This is how she meets Rebecca who persuades her into allowing them to transport some cargo. This results in an unwanted dangerous adventure for Baloo and Kit. After this they do cargo runs for her everyone and a while which results in the gang finding out about her companies secret. She comes along to help on especially dangerous missions.

Character Relations:
Baloo--> She is frightened of his piloting skills. He is the one of the only characters that can cause her to loose her temper.
Rebecca--> These two usually get along but she sometimes finds her overbearing.
Kit--> She admires that he ca be both responsible and goofy at the same time. She has a little bit of a crush on him (if you play with the ages).
Molly--> She doesn't notice her at first but soon notices how sneaky she is. She can't decide if that is a good or a bad thing.
Don Karanage--> She would find him amusing if he wasn't always pointing his sword in her direction.
Col. Spigot--> She has not hear of him.
Sgt. Dunder--> She feels sorry for him.
Trader Moe--> She hates him for trying to auction her off to the highest bidder. He needs to get some new goons.

Wow that really took on a life of its own. It was fun though :)

That's pretty detailed. Why do I feel you're talking with experience? :P

Hahaaha.....I wouldn't exactly say that I'm speaking from experience...My characters usually tend to take on a life of their own :) In the end they have bits and pieces of me. I also wanted her scenario to fit in with the context of the show. I do end up playing a lot of telephone tag for my family v.v;; and I do tend to feel like my sister gets away with being rambunctious and that I am stuck being the responsible one XD! My mom isn't a sociopath though >> I just thought it would be fun to show one of Khan's former rivals. There would probably be a story about how Khan and her mom tried to have each other assassinated >> I think she's definitely the more sociopathic of the two though...she would probably just kill whoever is in her way instead of being strategic like Khan. I think that is why my character is afraid of him he's so calculating its scary. I guess I share that with her too; Khan scared me when I watched the show as a child. Actually my family is pretty crazy so I guess I took that from experience as well. I definitely think that she is waaayyy more refined than I am though and more stuck up. She's nice at heart though...It makes me want to write about her however I'd have to work out the magic issue and make sure it would still fit in with the series. I guess it isn't completely out of left field...I mean that had that spell book in the episode with the ghost...Anyways sorry this was so long..I tend to go off on tangents ^.^;;;

I would be a pilot and be free with the clouds, and would probably... be a bear. :)

Actually, my role would be easy to describe but let's go through the whole list first.

Archeologist: Archeology is not my field of interest. By the way, I doubt an archeologist would have much airtime, Myra also appeared in just one episode.
Boss: I'm not the leader type or businessman type, so I can't think of a boss as my occupation
Mechanic: Like archeology, mechanics is not my strength. However, I wouldn't deny it because it comes in handy sometimges
Nothing: If I'd like to be no one in the world of Talespin, I wouldn't have posted.
Other: My role would be clear. XD
Pilot: If you mean cargo pilot, then no. I would fly planes though - because I have to. It's part of my role.

Now then, what would I like to be? Well, what left on the list? You guessed it, I'd like to be a member of the air pirates.
My species would be a dog, obviously. There would be many reasons for me to become a member of the air pirates, like adventures, freedom, adrenaline rush, etc. I secretly watched some pillages and always admired it. But the main reason is, that there's a "certain someone" I was hoping to find. Someone I know from the past...

Let's talk about my role as "he" now. Then let's have a look at my relations to the pirates:

Hidden text : click to show

Don Karnage: Although he may be not bad as a captain but "he" doesn't like how Karnage maltreats his fellows, especially Mad Dog. Complaining about the captain would bring "him" in trouble, so "he" has to take care of what he says and does.

Dumptruck: "He" gets along with him well but "he's" always jealous because usually Dumptruck is forming a team with his crush.

Ratchet: "He" made friends with Ratchet. Sometimes "he" learns from him because "he's" amazed of his technical knowledge.

Gibber: Another pirate "he" gets along with but often wonders why he has to whisper.

Hal: As "he" likes sports, Hal is like a rival to him. "He's" never beaten him in bomb bowling.

Hacksaw, Jixaw and others: no special connection

(spoiler because of special content)

Interesting question, also because I've already thought about this a lot earlier.

See, I've written a Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers/TaleSpin crossover named Too Huge To Be True back in 2006, the first crossover of this kind ever written. It's about Gadget dreaming herself and the other Rangers into a vacation to Cape Suzette in TaleSpin's time; not only that, they're about as tall as regular citizens as well. Most of you probably don't know it as it's actually a CDRR crossover with TaleSpin instead of the other way around and thus hasn't been published on any TaleSpin website. Well, I've been planning to write a sequel named Too Huge Too: Thanks For Everything, Rebecca Cunningham for at least three years now, and after that, a round robin taking place in the same dream universe was (and still is) to be launched at the CDRR fan forum The Acorn Café. It won't adhere to typical round robin rules including a fixed posting order, and it will include loads of self-insertion; actually, that will be the whole point of the Too Huge To Be A Round Robin—Gadget dreaming the Café patrons into Cape Suzette.

My character, Midnight, is a mouse about half a head taller than Gadget which translates to about as tall as Rebecca in the Too-Hugeverse. He is a commercial pilot and one half of a small air cargo/express service company, the other half is a cat named Melville who decided to start that enterprise after getting his hands on a combined hangar/office building. He is a pilot, too, but I am the owner of the company's only aircraft so far, a little yellow single-engined seaplane very roughly resembling that from Porco Rosso, only that the pilot is sitting in front of the wings, the engine is mounted backwards with a pushing propeller, and a canopy can be mounted. Larger amounts of cargo (such as a past shipment of upright piano for another upright piano as payment) require renting a bigger aircraft. M&M Air Service can be hired as pilots only, too, for example for transferring aircraft or as replacement pilots for other cargo or passenger services (the latter always require two pilots). One thing Melville and I share is that we both dislike the Groman G-21A Goose which keeps popping up everywhere.

In this universe, my nickname comes from a special trick I use to be able to start from Cape Suzette very late at night without waking up half the city with engine noises. I float my small aircraft away from the pier like a gondola and start up the engine when I'm far enough away. This costs extra, though, not only because it's inevitably part of an overnight flight.

Early in the story, I'm going to acquire a new (well, actually used) aircraft, a triple-engine seaplane that actually had a few moments of screen time in Plunder & Lightning 4 and seems to be inspired by the Dornier Do 24:
Image
It's fast, it's useful, but it also has got its disadvantages, especially unmodified ones. The main reason why I chose this model is a certain female somebody who seems to like this particular plane. I should also mention that I try my best to not be seen by her in my regular aircraft because I find it embarrassing. Even more embarrassing than Melville's crush on Kitten Kaboodle—he says he'll be standing in front of the prison gate when she comes out of jail.

uhm.. probably a cat because I can be shy but I'm a very friendly person, so I'd probably be friends with characters such as Baloo and Kit. xD As for a job I don't know.. one of my dream jobs is a vet but I don't think there are any vets in Talespin.

I read that one! I don't remember all the fanfics I've read over the time, but I sure do remember it!

Can't wait for the sequel! (whenever you get to write it of course)
