I like them both for different reasons, but Nala is my favourite.

its real hard to decide they both made equal in the first film nala was great but in 2nd kiara taken over and they both played awsome parts and i jsut cant decide  so both But Also to Edit this topic i found out something to myself if nala personality crossed with kiaras design probly be a great charater

I think Kiara is pretty awesome- I loved when she said to Simba "You will NEVER be Mufasa!" that was brilliant if you ask me. But Nala had even more awesome lines. Nala was awesome in the original, and the original was more awesome than the sequel (I hate it how Nala turned "Mary-Sue" in TLK2) so my vote is Nala.
