I was just wondering why there isnt an option to post a comment on videos like there is with nearly everything else on the site?

Same reason as to why we can't have a gallery presentation for Gamebooks. It was just never thought of, even though all the other sections have it. These small tid bits are apparently on steet's to-do list, but they're not priority. You could probably drop him another pm and request it again to remind him.
