Cool Story Bro, May 05, 2012

Meh, I think this film is a pretty cool guy. Meh, it's an animated musical and doesn't afraid of anything. Though who would actually pave their streets with gold? Silly yanks, always overcompensating. If that was in old blighty(particularly Liverpool, you can't trust them scousers), it'd be there for about an hour before some guy with a pickaxe decided to take it all. Anyway where was I? The film, or gold. I forget. 

Anyways, it has the guy from Quantum Leap in it, which is interesting. What happened to his time machine? Oh wait, he's a different character. I myself prefer Dr. Who, but that's because BBC 1 is better than ITV 3. Also, who'd have thought a dwarf could be an elephant? Not me, much to pragmatic for that kind of stuff. This makes no sense though I digress.

The characters are pretty cool guys I guess. The protagonist is a pretty nice guy, a little(very) naive and optimistic, but that's what you get from living across the pond. Adequacy, unlike inadequacy. The deuteragonist was a pretty cool guy too, though I fail to see how an American could be a damn sarcastic cynic. It's uncanny. The other minor deuteragonists are all right, everyone loves the Raj, right (I am racially offended in more ways than one)? The antagonist was antagonising, nothing more needs to be said on this count.

I think it's nostalgic. Some hovering simians might point out a gaping inconsistency in that statement, but that's not the point. The point is it is nostalgic in and of itself, which may seem strange, but you're all illiterate anyway, so hegelian dialectics to you.

To conclude, this film is a pretty cool guy, but I like Star Wars better.
