Personality:  She’s bold, adventurous and a sweet tomboy. She lacks the stereotypical tomboy brash and bully attitude; instead she is good natured underneath it all. She’s a very independent dog and believes that she owns her humans. She knows a lot about the world, T.V. shows and the current news- she always likes to be well informed. She is very inquisitive, and highly athletic to counteract the time she spends watching TV and reading.  She likes to blaze her own trail and pretend the park is the setting of some sort of a major story in a grand adventure. Though she isn’t an attention monger, she likes to play the major role (which is usually male, but she has no problem with it).

Likes:  Reading, watching T.V (especially Thunderbolt's Legend: The Tale of Blitz) and she loves radio dramas. She also loves to explore the “wilderness” of the backyard and the park with her sister. She still likes to get a big following of her siblings and play “pretend” where she is the leading role.

Dislikes:  Depressing news, ticks and sudsy baths (rinses are okay). Mable also has a dislike for rabid fans (be it girls or boys) from and T.V. show following. She dislikes arrogance and knows that most movie stars are never what they seem- so she avoids entering in contests to “meet the stars.”

More Info:

 At the plantation she can most often be found with her siblings in the barn watching T.V. or pretending she’s going on her own adventure- trying to recruit some of her siblings to play along with her. Her real sister- Olympia is usually the only one to go along with her. They were bought from a breeder together and taken to Hell-Hall. From there their story plays out like the rest of the 99 pups until they reached the plantation. She learned to read the human papers at a young age and often tried take the paper before Roger even had a chance to read it.

She much prefers fantasy adventures, and often finds the news very depressing- though she reads it anyways. When she was a pup, she first saw Thunderbolt's Legend: The Tale of Blitz. Mable was hooked, and the show was everything she could imagine. Unlike The Thunderbolt Adventure Hour (though she used to love this) , it played heavily on her favorite genres. Ever since the pilot aired, she would pretend she was Blitz going on some major adventure in the backyard or in the park. Olympia often got stuck with the role of Ginger, but Mable’s played her a few times. She plays out her favorite episodes and makes up new ones. She also likes to act out radio dramas.

On a regular visit to the park she happens to meet a very rare colored Labrador- one with spots. He recounted the tragedy of how everyone thinks he’s Blitz, when in fact there happens to be more than one spotted Retriever in England. She has also never seen Blitz in color, so she can’t be sure. She remains suspicious, but not seeing Ginger or a swarm of followers, or anyone else from the show in the park (just a very kindly human who the Retriever claims is his owner sitting on a park bench) she decided he could join her in her games and adventures. She also finds him way too down to earth to possibly be a movie star.
