Other Names: Albert (by most people he knows, except his grandmother, Lousia and Hans, because at that time it was more popular a name then Edward), Eddie (by his siblings), Ed (by his mother), Ward, Mr Ward, Master Edward, Sir Edward - Heir to Weselton (or Weaselton!) Dukedom. Son of "The Little Dipper".

Appearance: Edward is a tall, clean shaven, broad shouldered fellow, with long arms and legs and a face which is nearly always happy and smiling. His eyes are chestnut-brown and his hair (which is usually styled quite messily, except on public appearances) is iron grey, with brown and white streaks on the back and sides of his head ( hair was originally dark brown with light brown highlights but after suffering from the illness Scarlet Fever at the age of five, it turned grey).

Clothes: Usually seen in a well-made coat, either withs tails or not, designed by the people of Weselton. A white shirt, placed normally underneath the coat. Beige or white gloves, a tall black hat (sometimes) and he also wears long black/brown boots (similar to riding boots).

Accessories: Pocket watch and walking stick.

Personality: Lively like his father, Edward is quite a sociable person but is not an extrovert type and very much enjoys time either by himself or at home with his parents and siblings. He is also a very humorous, courteous and a generous man and is well known for his helpful and obedient nature.

He believes in loving your enemies, and is not a foolish person but can be merciful towards the people who hurt him and will do his very best to sort out any problem.

Though he has a kindly nature, Edward can become stern and even bitter when angered.

History -

Childhood -  Edwards times in childhood have not been publically recorded, except that at the age of five he caught Scarlet Fever (but luckily recovered, except for his hair colour, which turned grey) and also it is said that his parents used to sometimes take him to The Seven Isles (where he met Prince Hans) and Arendelle.

Teenhood - Visited many town and countries. Spent most of his teenhood in Weselton. Enjoyed many visits from Prince Hans and the prince's family. Was given his first hound, Edgar, on his sixteenth birthday.

Adulthood - When older, Edward helped his father out when they started trading with neighboring islands/town/countries. His father used to send many private letters to the King of Arendelle.

His Story Within the film "Frozen" (In his Adulthood) -

Edward was passing Arendelle by ship, for his father had told him to discuss trading businesses with the rulers of the island. He heard that sadly Anna and Elsa's parents, The King Agdar and Queen Idun of Arendelle's ship had sunken. He decided to come to the funeral. He slept on his ship overnight and left in the morning.

Edward and his father visited Arendelle when they were invited to Elsa's coronation.

After Elsa's coronation, Edward was not publically introduced to Queen Elsa and Princess Anna due to being questioned thoroughly by Louisa, who had taken an interest in Weselton where he daughter lived. And he wasn't even seen much by many of the guests either. Most of the time (after Louisa had to leave him in order to check on the kitchens) he spent on watching Hans (whom he knew very well and thought acted oddly/suspiciously/differently from his usual self), talking to his father, or just simply wandering about the ballroom or sitting at a side table.

Queen Elsa reveals her powers - Edward did not really witness Elsa revealing her powers, all he heard was an argument going on and some guests gasping. The only thing he saw was ice and the Queen Elsa run out of the throne room, slamming the doors behind her.

In due course he heard from someone that the Queen had run over the water by freezing it. Utterly confused with this information, Edward went to find his father in order to ask for an explanation at what had exactly just taken place, but the Duke was too busy talking Hans outside.

After Princess Anna had left in search for her sister, Edward took up the job of helping Hans look after the people of Arendelle, who were suffering from the everlasting winter, Elsa had covered Arendelle with.

When Princess Anna's horse returned to Arendelle riderless, Edward was given the job of looking after the horse, who had become rather maddened.

Once, after Edward had finished taking Anna's steed for a run outside Arendelle castle, a snow storm picked up. Turning the horse round, Edward wanted to return to the castle, but the horse would not budge. Feeling annoyed, Edward tried to move the horse again.

 But it stubbornly held fast, and stared fixedly at the path Anna had gone. Giving up to the horse at last, Edward decided to ride the horse down the path. Unluckily they got lost but managed to find their way back to the castle. Through the night, in it's stable, the steed did whinny for Anna. So, pitying the creature, Edward kept it company through the long nights.

The Ending.....or is it? ~

After The Queen Elsa and Princess Anna had returned to Arendelle and The Duke of Weselton was accused as a attempted murderer, Edward tried to ask Elsa's guards to let him into Arendelle castle, for he wanted to ask for forgiveness for his father's bad actions. But he was unheeded by The Queen's guards, who did not wish to listen to what the "son of the intended man slaughterer", as they called his father, wanted to say. Edward, in despair was obliged to leave Arendelle with his father and the bodyguards.

This part is more of a "story" ~

When Edward returned to Weselton it was evening. Edward found the Duke brooding on a seat by an alighted fireplace in the mansion's large living room. The Duchess and Edward's siblings had retired to their beds, so it was just him and the Duke who were still up. Edward smiling, sat on another chair beside his father and saw that the elderly man held a letter in his slightly trembling hands. On the envelope was written -

To: The Duke of Weselton 

From: Their Royal Majesties King Adgur and Queen Idun of Arendelle

Confused at why the letter came from The King and Queen of Arendelle, whom Edward knew very well were dead, he asked his father how this was so. The Duke answered: "This is an old letter they meant to send to me before their ship sunk. It contains information about something we had always been discussing through letters ever since you turned nineteen...When you and I were in Arendelle for the coronation, I found it in a box in a cabinet in the throne room."

He passed the letter to his son. Edward opened the envelope and pulled the letter out slowly. His eyes scanned the writing.

After a few minutes Edward closed the paper and stared into the fire's flames. "I see," he said...

Relation to the story and characters of Disney film  "Frozen"  -  Edward is the first born son of the Duke of Weselton, he was a close friend of Prince Hans of The Seven Isles. He visited Arendelle for Elsa's coronation.
