Here's the deal.People are wondering,"Is this Scars cub?Is this really Zira's cub?Or is it someone elses?"Well this is my theory.

What I'm sure of is that all of them are Zira's cubs.

NUKA:The eldest of her cubs.Definetly Scar's son.Let's see the comparison:Same color,same mane color,same tail tuft and scraggly mane,too.Making him 100% Scar and Zira's cub.

VITANI:This is not one of Scar's cubs.Totally not.But 100% Zira's cub.Zira,thinking Scar was not a suitable sire,looked for another male.And ended up with Chumvi.

Wait.Let's pause here for a second.Don't get mixed up!Tojo isn't Vitani's father!In my opinion,Tojo was wandering the jungle at that time.

KOVU:Zira,thinking that it was time for another new sire,went into the jungle to find a strong protective jungle cat.Thus,baring the cub of Tojo.Soon sticking with her new mate for the rest of her life.(Until Scar(who was still taking over)suspected Tojo was taking his mate and killed Tojo)After the murder,Zira didn't want any other sire than Tojo.

So that's my theory.I hope this cleared up some of the confusion.Bye!!!!

@ Tama: I agree almost 100%, but...there is just no real proof other than the looks. And fanfiction doesn't prove anything. But I think this: Nuka = Scar x Zira Vitani = Tama x Tojo Kovu = Chumvi x either outlander lioness or Kula.

okay lets get it straight. has anyone heard of tama. she is just like vatani. as for kovu. probaly kula as the mum. nuka is 100% ziras cub. mheetuh is vatanis mum. chumvi is kovus. the males die. please reply.

I just wanted to point out, seeing as Zira pretty much WORSHIPS Scar, she'd most likely not consider him an un-ideal mate. Not to mention she's pretty (censored) in crazy, further supporting the fact that she wouldn't have a sensible outlook when finding a 'suitable' mate. I personally don't think Kovu is Zira's, and he's obviously not Scar's. And Vitani? Who knows, but she does have blue eyes and some sort of pre-existing connection to Nala. Nuka is possibly Scar's, or at least THINKS he is. He's definitely Zira's. Kovu, however, likely isn't; just look at the difference in her reactions towards Kovu and Nuka around the time of Nuka's death.

I don't really get why people keep on saying Simba's friends are Zira's mates Reasons: 1: Chumvi and Tojo all ready have mates Kula for Chumvi and Ema For Tojo 2. Zira is a generation older than Both of them! 3. they wouldn't of wanted to have cubs with her any way, they don't like her, they know she already had Scar, and Zira didn't like them!

I don't exactly agree. I honestly think that Nuka and Vitani are both Scar and Zira's cubs. I mean, Vitani takes after her mother in the looks department and Nuka takes after more of his father. Kovu, I'm nto really sure, but he isn't Scar that I'm certain of. Scar only adopted him, because he saw more hope in him than his own biological son, Nuka.

Vitani can have blue eyes and still be scar's and zira's daughter. I have an uncle who has blue eyes and his parents(my grandparents) had black-brown eyes. Also cubs in the same litter can have different fathers i.e. vitani(if she IS a twin of kovu(the older one) can be the daughter of Scar while kovu(the younger twin hence the last born) can be the son of some other lion. I don't know I think Vitani and Kovu have the same father. They're two close in age for Zira to have found a new mate and then had another cub after Vitani was born, unless it was like a day after she mated with one lion. Only thing wrong with Nuka being Scar's son was Zira seemed to crazy or obsessed with Scar to cheat on him. I don't mean to sound like I'm ranting I actually think you could have something here especially the Nuka part.

I nevr understood why everyone thought Kovu was Scars, I new Nuka had to be Scars, Vitani was the one i was confused back because of her blue eyes. I think people forget that Lions do not mate for life so they thaught all Zira's cubs had to be Scars. This is a very helpful Artical
