may be true on why she was banished and nice article but who knows perhaps zira was kicked out for having cubs with scar. (Vitani, Nuka.) thats what happens in real prides right? anyways i still believe KOPA is alive!

by lion king 3 showed scenes you never see in a scene they say that the father of Timon left out because there are too many different characters I think they were so Kopa from the film showed

Great artical. I think that Kopa was cut out for other reasons which are explained in my artical The Lion King 2 and The Animals of Farthing Wood which will hopefully be uploaded in a few days.

He is real.He well..If they make a Lion King 3/4 whatever they say its
called.He will come back.He & Kiara will figure who will be King or
Queen.That's what I say.Oh check out my contest,projects & story.Its

Kopa is real alright, but Disney decided that he doesn't fit in 2nd
movie, so he is probably history.
Once i wrote this to
somebody's what happened to Kopa question: "All that you hear is fan
fiction. No official explanation, just two different, what if, time
lines. One what if simba had a son, and other what if he had daughter.
Disney kind of throw away kopa, and created kiara. TLK 6 new
adventures are more question answering books(like: where Scar get his
scar? or Zazus history,...). Not make to tell that told a lot more
what hapend in future. Kopa was just a tool to tell stories to.

I feel sorry for little guy never appeared in move. Although
i heard, at first was planed that simba had twins, male and female,
you can pretty much guess names they would have. But there are A LOT
of what happened to Kopa scenarios. Made by fans, being killed, run
away, placeing him after tlk2, ... So decision is yours what to make
of it, they all fit in if you can ignore nobody mentioning Kopa in tlk
2 or kiara in TLK 6NA."

Kopa is NOT a fiction character.He IS REAL!

There are many theories surrounding Kopa's existance. Disney's
official stance is that within the movie universe, Kopa never existed.
The Six New Adventures books were published by people who had no real
ties to the feature animation department, and they certainly weren't
written by the creators of the plot. Once Disney decided to make a
sequel, Kopa was out of the picture. Personally I doubt that most of
the staff that worked on either The Lion King or Simba's Pride ever
read those books. Boring reality aside;

My own personal
theory is that Kopa befriended Nuka as a cub, and when Zira hatched
her plan to rid herself of the meddlesome cub, Nuka was fast to warn
his only friend. Kopa ran off into the wilderness, and Zira never
found him. Simba of course found out about Zira's plan, and exiled her
on the assumption that his disappearance was due to her success. Zira
suspected Nuka had something to do with the failure of her plan and
never trusted him again, while poor Nuka was left with the guilt of
knowing that his family had been exiled because he couldn't tell Simba
that his son was really alive. The sudden lack of love from his mother
and the overwhelming guilt drove him to eventually blame Simba for all
of their problems.

Meanwhile, Kopa went to live with a
rogue lion that had been spotted nearby, by the name of Tojo. (Tojo
appears in a german comic strip where Simba discovers a nest of
abandoned birds, he and Tojo raise them)
Kopa eventually returns
to the Pridelands, after the events in Simba's Pride have taken
course.

My account is by no means the factual version of
what happened, because officially, NOTHING happened involving Kopa,
his birth, his supposed death, his life, never existed. Including Kopa
in your own stories requires a certain amount of timeline jumping, if
you go by Kiara's age, she does not appear to be much younger than
Kovu, so they can't have been born very far apart, Kopa would almost
have no time to exist between the end of the first movie and the
beginning of the second, unless you make some very broad assumptions
that all of Zira's children are severely stunted in their growth (poor
diet perhaps)

Sorry that was so long, just my ramblings
on the subject. Kopa isn't some big secret Disney tried to keep from
you, he is a forgotten character from a derivative book series. In the
end, he's only semi-canon.

I agree with Kohaku 9595s second theory. Its not denied or confirmed.
That theory I first found on Wikipedia. Mybe they only think he is
dead and will return. Like Simba in TLK.

For real reason,
i dont believe disney woud kill him, becouse its too dark story for
children. He probably just didnt fit in film.

I think Kopa does exist because he is in the book six new
adventures. Who knows? He could one day come back, though he
was murdered.

oh and zira was banish because she didnt listen to simba about scar
killing mufasa.the other lioness think scar is a great king and so he
banish zira and the others.

kopa died by an accident.kiara website said it and i dont think zira
murder him.i dont think zira is a cub killer.

The Origanal book "The Lion King" had Kopa in it. I think the creators
of Lion King 2 thought a better story could be created if the cub was
a girl.Kovu falling in love with her and all
