My theory about Kovu's father and mother plus all Lion King plot holes between 1 and 2

MY theory is that after Scar took over the Pridelands, he attempted to find a queen that would get him the leftover devotion of the Pride-landers . Scar decide to chose his fanatical follower, Zira.

Zira and Scar had two cubs, the first born being unnamed (by the movie creators), and a second, Nuka. However the first born was next inline for the throne, and any of his offspring, and so on. Nuka would only have a shot if the first born died before mating.

But Scar had more troubles, Zira was out of control, and in the view of the Pride-landers (but mostly the Hyenas) she was a terrible queen. When Scar tried to take Nala as his next queen, she ran away, and in her place, Sarafina became his queen, and quite reluctantly had a cub named Vitani, technically making Nala and Vitani half sisters. (The movie never states how long Nala was on her own)

The unnamed cub mated with an unnamed lioness and had Kovu, the second in line according to Scar. Nuka resented Kovu as a result.

Sarafina might have felt so depressed and guilty for having a cub with Scar, she ran away. Sarabi later went looking for her- which explains both of their absences in the second film. With Sarafina gone, Vitani had no mother, and Zira took her in as a result. Because she was such a young age, Vitani believed Zira was her birth mother.

With Simba's return, Scar was killed, though Zira, and about eight other lionesses were out hunting at the time. Upon their return, the discovered that Simba had ascended to the throne. Zira convinced the other lionesses of Simba`s treachery. They ganged up and killed Simba and Nala`s first cub, Kopa.

In shock and outrage, Simba banished Zira, but not before an altercation with Scar's unnamed cub. (probably along the lines of who would be next in line, or if Scar's word had any meaning). Simba ended up killing Scar's son. Simba then decided that no one related to Scar could be trusted.

He banished Kovu, Nuka, and Vitani into the care of Zira and the other co-conspirators. Zira then convinced the three cubs that they were a family that must stick together. The slowly began to call her mother.

Simba and Nala then had a second cub, Kiara. Still fearful of the evil of the outsiders, Simba became a paranoid parent.

Kovo was addopted and he has no idea who his real parents are.
But he does see V.T as his real sister, plus all of Zira's other kids..... But anyway!

Kiara is his girlfriend and they love each other, though Kovo is very stupid at times and Kiara is waiting until the day when he says something smart. As is Nala.
They are still waiting.........

your saying scar was kovus dad. it clearly states in the film that scar was NOT kovus dad. aND IF U GO ON WIKIPEDIa (sorry forgot 2 take off cap lock) it sez that zira is kovus mum, zira also states in the my lullaby "my son" and "my little kovu". Is this sum kind of product of ur imagineation? the main question about kovu people should be asking is whos kovu's dad?

nuka, vitani and kovu are all zira's cubs. only nuka and vitani are
scar's cubs.

Zira is without a doubt Kovu's mother. :D

I'm not sour but I think that Nuka and Vitani founded him as a cub and
they called Zira to do something. And than when Zira came she adopted
him and gived him new name Kovu. That's what I think.

Zira is TOATTALLY Kovu's Mum!!! she calls him her Son and ' my little
kovu' (during 'my lullaby') so she is Obviusly his mum!

None of the other lionesses were Zira's offspring, Legacy. Why were
they exiled--eh? It's just because Simba thought they didn't belong.
Anyway, it's just a theory.

I didn't get it. Zira calls Kovu her son. Zira is definitely Kovu's
mother, otherwise why would he be exiled with the other outlanders? I
think that Scar escaped the hyenas, and Zira and some other lionesses
that were followers of Scar kept him hidden in the Pridelands. A male
lion (maybe a teen when Simba was a cub?) also mated with Zira, and
that was how Kovu and Vitani happened. Even though Nuka was his son
Scar didn't see him as a suitable heir and saw Kovu and chose him.
Shortly after, Zira killed Kopa (optional) and Simba found her pride
and exiled them, and killed Scar.

Just my theory. XD

OR when she said Kovu was hand-chosen by Scar, maybe the truth was that Scar actually said the next born male, and Zira was just exaggerating to make Simba mad.

My guess is the unknown lioness was a kind of social outcast--that is, others didn't want to be with her.
And Zira was just trying to win points.

i guess its possible altho knowing scar i doudt he mourned for her but
why what reason would Zira out of all the more caplable lionesses
including queen sarabi take pitty on him and choose to raise him as
her own?
