Personality: He doesn't actually take much after his father, except for a coniving mind, which he achieved greatly, as he is pretty good at thinking and making up plans. He's basically one who wants to make his own decisions, and would rather go his own way than follow the others. He is pretty silent, and only talks if he wants to, mainly just to give or recieve orders. He has a very short temper, and patience always runs thin with others. The only one he really seems to have time for is his younger half-sister, Dikeledi, whom he is very protetive over. If he sees that you are worth spending time on, he will, and if you get close enough, he takes on a brotherly role for a few.

History: Afolabi was born during the reign of Scar after Nuka was, when Scar started reproducing with other lionesses to produce heirs that weren't weak. Afolabi was one of the first born of them, and Scar had high hopes for him. Unfortunatly, as he grew into a cub, it became evident that he wasn't the leader type, and so Scar disregarded him as another screw up. His mother was one of Scar's followers, and accepted his judgment without question, though she still cared for her son, and taught him how to survive. As a cub, he followed rules very well, and took orders easily, carrying them out.

Later, his mother convinced Scar to give him battle training, since he took orders so well and was a strong, and obedient young cub. So, Scar started to train him reluctantly, and Afolabi trained hard to gain respect from his father, and show everyone he wasn't useless. Later, he got a bit distracted when his youngest half-sister, Dikeldi was born. He saw her as small and weak, and decided to be her protector. Often times he was bossed around by his younger half-brother Talon, but he obeyed the younger cub, since he seemed to be leaderly.

But, these times were soon over. As he reached teenhood, Simba showed up, killing his father and sending his family into exile. They now had to live in the barren Outlands, where Talon grew deathly ill, and nearly died, but luckily, managed to survive. There, Zira groomed all the cubs of Scar to be killers, except for Dikeledi and Kitoto, who didn't have the necessary drive. Afolabi's mother also helped out, but was spending most of her time trying to find food to feed the others, which was pretty much unsuccessful. But, even in these hard days, his sister Dikeledi always seemed to make him smile, and make life worth living.

He was an adult when they went to war with the Pridelanders. He fought as hard as he could, thinking of Dikeledi back home to keep him going. During this battle, his mother was killed by a hard blow from Simba, which made him angry and even more furious at Simba than before. When Zira died and the war ended, the only Outlanders who stayed strong were Afolabi, Nguvu, and Talon, who refused to join Simba. They went back, and gathered Kitoto and Dikeledi, then headed off on their own as rogues. It was hard living as rogues, and it got even worse once they were injured by hyenas. After a while, his sister Dikeledi suggested that they join Simba's Pride, saying it would be easier than living out here where they could get killed in their sleep. Though Afo wasn't very fond of the idea of begging Simba for help, he knew he would never let his sister go alone.

Finally, they reached a decision, and approached the Pridelands. They joined, though Afolabi, Talon, and Nguvu pretty much kept their distance for a while. He watched Dikeledi even more closely, not wanting her to get hurt. But, her adventurous side got the better of her, and she approached the daughter of Kiara and Kovu, Mykka. His sister became fast friends with her, and later became a sort of translator for the mute girl. Though he wasn't friends with her as quickly, he did gain a bit of friendship with her, and they became closer. He now has a bit of a crush on her, but won't yet show it, due to his manly pride.
