Personality: Akachi is a quiet, timid and shy cub with a caring and gentle heart. He doesnt like being too far way from home and likes to stay away from any trouble or danger. He is playful and lovable and extremely cares for his family. He is rather protective and weary of other cubs and lions.

Sexuality: Possibly straight but will be confirmed when older.

Abioye – Abioye, Akachi's older twin brother, The two share a unbreakable bond with eachother and get along extremely well despite their large differences in personalities, He is the less dominant one out of the two, despite being slightly stronger and is also the smallest out of them both. He is

rather protective of his brother and always tries to look after him... When he can that is.

Nala – Nala is Akachi's adoptive mother, She took them in when they were a few months old and raised them and cared for them, Akachi is a big old mommas boy. He loves his mother to bits and loves being around her constantly. He is very attached to her and likes to look after her.

Kovu – Kovu, Akachi's adoptive father found him and Abioye and saved them from being killed by Hyenas. Akachi loves his adoptive father very much and gets on with him well. He doesnt see him much due to him always being out on royal duties or saving his rebellious brother from death but he always makes sure to make the most of the time he spends with him,

Backstory:

One day, during morning patrol, Zazu informed Kovu of a group of Hyenas running towards the elephant graveyard with what looked like cubs in their mouths. Immediately Kovu went after the Hyena's as quick as he could. As soon as he found them a small fight broke out between him and the Hyenas before they eventually submitted to him. Kovu demanded that they give him what they were carrying and like Zazu predicted, two of the Hyenas had a cub in their jaw each. The cubs were a few months old and had few minor injuries, One of the cubs had a large scratch like mark on their eye and was unable to open it. Kovu was furious and warned the hyenas that if he ever saw them with any cubs again, He would banish them. After the Hyenas had dashed off with their tails between their legs, Kovu gently took the two cubs by the scruff and took them to Rafiki.

Rafiki confirmed that one of the cubs has lost sight in on of their eyes and the cuts on them would eventually scar. Rafiki could tell the cubs were a long way from their home and had a feeling their parents had possibly abandoned them or were dead. After they were cleared up, Kovu thanked Rafiki and took the cubs to pride rock. He found Nala and told her about what happened and what Rafiki said about their parents and after a discussion and Kiara and Simbas consent, They decided to raise the cubs together due to Kiara feeling too young to raise a cub yet and Simba feeling it wouldn't feel right to him to raise cubs that aren't his own. They decided to name the two cubs, Abioye and Achaki.

Ever since Nala and Kovu started raising Akachi and his brother, they had been spending more and more time with eachother, getting to know each other better and quickly becoming good friends. They would often speak about Scar and Zira and about how they were both good souls that the darkness just took over and they couldn't control it. They often opened up to eachother and grew to become very close. After a while Nala felt herself start to grow feelings for the young male, Kovu did too, They knew this was a problem due to them both having mates already and decided to try to ignore their feelings for one another and act like they usually did for eachother. The two ended up accidentally flirting with each other every once in a while and no matter how hard they tried, they often would show their feelings towards each other in subtle ways. One night, Nala went off to the waterhole for a little drink, Kovu soon came following her. The two were the only ones at the waterhole and spent time their talking to eachother, They ended up opening up to eachother about their pasts. Nala accidentally revealed her feelings to Kovu, who at first was shocked but soon ended up revealing his feelings too, The two couldnt keep their feelings hidden any longer and ended up spending the night together and mating, It wasnt till the next day that they realised wha they had done. Even though their mating was not successful and didn't get Nala pregnant. Nala decided to confess to Simba about what happened, Simba was furious at first and was tempted to attack Kovu for it. But he just couldn't do it, Knowing how much it would hurt Nala and Kiara. He decided to shrug it off, although he couldn't look at Kovu and Nala the same any more, He still loved Nala.

After a while, Kovu also confessed to Kiara what happened, Kiara didnt react too well to the news and ended up being so distraught and upset that she abandoned her throne and ran off. Upon hearing about this. Simba sent out a massive search party to look for his daughter. But there was no luck. Nala, Kovu and Simba were all deeply distraught about Kiara running away. One day Nala woke up to see Simba was gone, She decided to wait to see if hopefully he would come back, Simba was gone for days, weeks and still hadn't returned. Nala was extremely upset, She had lost both her daughter and Mate. Kovu felt guilty and if he was the one who caused all this. He apologised many times to Nala and was her shoulder to cry on. The two eventually decided to become mates and to look after the kingdom together, As King and queen. The Pridelands weren't so keen at first, But eventually got used to the fact. Together they raised Abioye and Achaki as their adopted sons.

Five (lion) years later. There was still no new of Kiara or Simba being sighted and Kovu and Nala still hadn't got over their loss, The two loved each other very much. But they worried, Nala was getting old, She was a lot older then Kovu and he knew there was a chance that she wouldn't live much longer. He confronted Rafiki about it and asked him how he had been around for such a long time and told him about Nala. Rafiki told him about how aging is a natural process and it cant be stopped, But it could be reversed slightly. Rafiki made a paste that he claimed would make Nala a young adult again but... there was a chance she would become infertile and during the process she would feel rather unwell. Nala and Kovu discussed it together and after a while, They decided to take the risk. After Nala and the other lioness' hunted that night. Nala got her share of meat and Rafiki, slathered the paste on Nalas meat. She ate it and then went with Rafiki to his tree, So he could look after her till the process had completed.

A week later, Nala returned, she looked extremely different, younger and healthier. However she was rather sad, during her healing process, She realised that she wanted cub again, But the chance of that happening could be lost. She told Kovu about it who reminded that is was only a chance she could become infertile and that he believe they should at least try. Ever so often, The two would mate to try and get Nala pregnant. Taking small breaks in between. They didn't have much luck and were about to give up. Until one day it worked. Nala was pregnant.

Akachi was thrilled at the news he was going to be a big brother and felt himself already growing to be very protective of the cubs, even thought they hadn't even been born yet. Akachi decided to stay around Nala as much as she could, In order to try and protect her and the unborn cub. He may have been young still but he wasn't letting that stop his from looking after her. Akachi would occasionally do other things when told by his parents to but he tried to spend most of his time with Nala.

He would look after his mother a lot, cleaning her bringing her meat from the food pile to eat, He even would go off to find the weird foods she craved. He asked her many questions about the cub and asked if he could name the cub and be their guardian. Nala promised him that when He or she was born, That he could name them and become their guardian. Akachi was honoured to know he would become the cubs guardian and decided to start practising in fighting and other things for when the cub was born. With Kovu being too busy too train him and Nala being unable to. Akachi trained himself, He would observe the lioness' and his father from pride rock and watch their actions and reactions to things. When he could he was ask his parents for a little help too and they would give him tips and advice, Along with reminding him to never attack unless threatened or if in danger. He struggled a little due to being half-blind. But managed to strengthen his senses with a little bit of daily training...
