History: She was born a year after the war between the pridlanders and the outlanders finished. She was born alongside her twin brother, who she loves dearly, even though he is sometimes too shy. When she met Kiara, they became instant best friends, and often played, despite being from different prides. One time, Amara got stuck in a tree, and some leopards tried to kill her. But Simba saved her, and she is forever grateful. She sometimes admires cheetahs for their fast speeds, but knows that lions can over power them. She knows that there are still a few rogue lions left from Scar's old pride. She has met Vitani, Zira's daughter, and finds her very different from Zira from what she heard in stories. Her mother tried to teach her how to hunt, but had little success. She tries her best to get her aunt Jayna to play with her, and she eventually gives in to the little cub. As Amara grew, she became better at hunting, but still had to work out a few details. kovu helped her with those in the same ways he first helped Kiara.

As an adult, she succeeded in bringing down a small antelope. Her brother grew into a more social young lion, and was glad. When a new female lion showed up, Amara was wary of the new lioness, and didn't trust her at first. But they soon hit it off, and she now enjoys her company.
