Arnold is an aardvark found in one of Hakuna Matata stories called The Shiny Stones.

Arnold is an aardvark who lived somewhere near the jungle.

When Timon meets Arnold he mistakes him for a cape dog, but Arnold laughs and introduces himself to be a harmless aardvark. Arnold tells Timon about the shiny stones he was searching for. The two befriend each other and Timon is invited to Arnold's warren where they spend happy time together. At the end of a story Simba and Pumbaa come searching for Timon. Timon leaves with friends, but as a gift to Arnold, he gives him the shiny stones he was collecting.
