Appearance: Asani has a very light creamy colored fur which is lighter on his belly, toes, muzzle, and under his eyes. He has a dark brown mane and green eyes.

Personality: Asani is a very charming lion. He likes to flirt with the lioness but he is also very true to himself. Asani doesn't take no for an answer and always speaks his mind.

History:

Birth- Asani was born in a very large pride and because there were so many lions in the pride the rules had to be a little more strict so everything was in order. He was born and only child but there were many cubs in the pride so it seemed to be a great place to grow up.

Childhood- Ever since Asani was cub he was always willing to speak his mind. He was not afraid to tell other his opinions, which his parents thought was a trait that would take him far, and he was also always willing to show off to the girls. Asani was very popular with the other cubs. He had many friends and many crushes on him but mostly he was just happy to spread his ideas. The parents didn't like him as much because they believed he was ignorant and oblivious to how hard it would be to even change the small things he thought of. The parents in the pride were also very strict and did not always agree with Asani's actions.

Asani was a lot like his father. In looks and in personality. Both were always trying to change things and make things better, a trait that Asani's mother loved. Asani and his mother were also close but Asani was even rebellious towards his mother's rules. Asani was always the one who challenged everything.

Teenage years-

When Asani was a teenager he began to set up protests against the king's rules, sometimes he ended up being the only one. He challenged ever rule the king made when some of them were necessary. Asani just wanted to fight against all rules. Asani was soon being ignored by everyone.

Asani, upset over being ignored, decided to go straight up to the king and tell him his opinions. Asani snuck into the part of the den where the king would sleep and waited until the king was there alone. He hid in the shadows and waited. When the king showed up all Asani did was enter the light but he startled the king and he reacted with a swipe at Asani. The king missed Asani but Asani quickly thought it was because of his actions and took it as a threat. Asani attacked the king, not knowing the king swiped at him due to reaction. The king called for help and larger lions ran to the king's side. The large lions pulled Asani off the king. "You, Asani, are banished from my kingdom forever!" The king demanded. Asani was forced out of the pride lands. Due to the rumors everyone heard that Asani attacked the king due to anger, they had no idea of the real situation. Even Asani's parents were ashamed. As he left they did not come to say good bye.

Adulthood-

Asani was forced be on his own which didn't seem that bad for him. He knew how to take care of himself and loved a life with no rules. He told many different stories to different prides, seeking pity. He even changed his name different times so no one knew it was the same person.

He was a young adult when he found the Pride Lands. At this time Mufasa had just become king and nothing too exciting was happening. Taka/Scar had just isolated himself from the others, full of jealousy for his older brother. Asani had been for walking for many days straight so he decided to stop and take a rest in the Pride Lands. A group of young beautiful lionesses were out  hunting so Asani decided to watch. One lioness strayed from the hunting party to catch a large antelope. Asani watched as the young, beautiful lioness caught her prey with ease. While she was walking back carrying the antelope Asani stopped her. He greeted her using his charm and flirty smile. He introduced himself, and of course had to give a fake back story to explain where he came from. Asani made sure she thought he was just a good guy in a bad situation. It worked of course, he was always a great liar. The lioness introduced herself as Sarafina. Asani was able to convince Sarafina to let him stay in the Pride Lands. His fake back story was sad so Sarafina felt so sorry for him she instantly let him stay. Asani later made sure Sarafina was able to convince Mufasa to let him stay. Asani's plan worked just fine.

He spent a lot of his time with Sarafina and she was quickly fell in love with Asani's charming way and for the first time Asani actually cared about a lioness who liked him. Spending time with her, and talking with her was the funniest time he had. Asani had fallen in love. Scared of becoming too attached and then Sarafina figuring out his real past so he left. It was too late though soon after he left Sarafina had Nala. Angry and upset, Sarafina wanted to make sure Nala never knew her father.

Asani felt horrible after he left. He had truly fallen in love. Not long after he returned seeking forgiveness. This time Sarafina wasn't interested and her best friend, Sarabi, was there to make sure Asani didn't even get close to Sarafina or Nala. Asani stayed far from her, and just watched. That's when some lions, who were after Asani for stealing their food, had finally found out he was in the Pride Lands. One night, while Asani was asleep they attacked him. It was a long fight but Asani was able to scare them off, but at a price. Asani was seriously injured after the fight and went to Sarafina for help. Though, he had broken her heart Sarafina didn't feel it was right to let him die. She treated his wounds, making sure no one found out they were together. This time he told his real story and after some time Sarafina had fallen for him again. It wasn't long after when Sarafina had Mheetu.

After Mheetu was born Asani was scared more lions would come after him, for he had done a lot of bad things in his past. Asani was also afraid of being a father. He hadn't met Nala officially yet because of the other adults who would want to kill him. Asani was just unhappy so once again he left. Never to be seen again.
