Character: Asya is blunt and sarcastic. She grew up spoiled by her father but never let it get to her head. She does give off an 'Im better than you' air but mentally she's very down to earth. Quick to spot out others flaws and weaknesses and being incredibly stubborn she's somewhat hard to get along with witch others that are extremely touchy. But she can't help but speak her mind. A tomboy at heart.

Relationships:

Nala- Asya's older sister. The two where close growing up even though they are only half-siblings. While Simba was presumed dead Nala and Asya became close friends and where rarely seen apart. Asya would stick up for her sister to anyone even her father, Scar. Though they tend to disagree on that topic, scar being Asya's dad. Asya still loved her father even through all the bad things he's done and Nala can't stand him. They often fight when the topic is brought up.

Shamim- The leader of Asya's pride. When they first met they ran the pride together though they never became mates. But after some time she moved around alot and decided to step down from the role as leader but still helps him run the pride. The two bicker a lot as they are quite the opposites. Asya wins most of the arguments due mostly to her stubborness. She is unaware of Shamim's crush on her.

Kesar- Asya's adopted son. She found him near the outlands after he was abandoned by his parents. Though Asya hated cubs she couldn't help but bring him home with her. She protects her adopted son with her life and pities the fool that threatens him.

History

                     Asya was the result of a fling between Scar and Nala's mother, Sarafina. Scar had always had a soft spot for Sarabi since he was young but his brother Mufassa impressed her and he knew she was off limits. She was one of the only cubs who was nice to him and as he grew he couldn't shake his feelings for her. When Mufassa died he was quick to try and make Sarabi his queen but she stubbornly refused. His anger grew and he attacked her. But he knew this could work for his backup plan, instead he knew he could corrupt Sarabi's close friend, Sarafina. Sarafina was much more submissive than Sarabi and she was vunerable. When Scar approached her she quickly agreed to be his queen to keep herself from being attacked too.

Months later Sarafina had a daughter she named Asya which meant 'born during mourning'. The pridelands where dying and she hoped her tiny cub would make it through the trying times unlike her son, Mheetu, who had died some time before. Asya soon met her older sister Nala and soon enough she started following her everywhere. This benifited Nala since Scar always watched out for Asya and made sure she was not picked on or any harm came to her and since Nala was always around she gained his protection too.

As the two grew up they became very close to one another. But one day Nala judged Scars leadership and threw him into a rampage. Nala knowing she was no match for the other male lion fled the pride even though Asya pleded her father to leave he be. Asya tried intervening but was injured in the process, only infuriating her father further. Asya soon lost sight of Nala and ended up lost near the outlands and refused to return to pride rock after seeing the dark side of Scar.

She took up residence in the swamplands in between the two territories and later found a lion named Shamim. He started a pride with her though they never did become mates, Asya loved to wander around to much to lead a pride. Shamim toold Asya about Nala and Simba's return so Asya happily left to visit her sister.She was heartbroken to heard of her fathers death but wasn't entirely surprised. She soon return to the pride with Shamim and remained there as a highly ranked member of the pride.
