History: The mauratone lion is a rare breed (no it isn't, I made it up!) of lions that are considered to have "special powers". They admit, they do have some strange abilitys, but it is unnatural for them to not have strange abilitys. Mauratone lions used to be looked after by humans, but one day escaped into the wild. They did like it there, but an unfortunate accident happened. Brazil was around when this happened. A fire started and the humans cut the chains off of their lions and freed them. The humans always kept dozens of collars, so after the fire some of their lions crept in and took them all. The humans had moved on, and none were killed. In memory of their beloved owners, the mauratone lions kept their collars on, complete with the small chains that were still connected when they had been cut, and never took them off. Any of the lions that died had their collars removed and were given to newborns. Brazil quickly got used to her new life in Kopa's pride, soon to become Shaka's pride, but hated it when the other lion cubs tried to examine her. She would always push them off, and attack them if they tried to remove her collar or chains. Like many mauratone lions, her tail would flick and send shiver signals down her spine if anything or anyone was behind her, so she could always avoid it. Some mauratone lions could control time or space, for Brazil it was time. She learnt to control it as she became older, and knew how to use it properly. One of the things their collars were used for was to control their powers, so Brazil never really found out about them until she could and did use them. She went back in time to witness a murder that happened in the pridelands a few years back by accident. The murderer was caught and killed in a fight with Kopa. She soon learnt the responsibility's that came with her ability, not to mention her collar, and was soon putting it to a lot of use that was for the good of the pride. She became a great hunter and was soon the lead hunter for her speed. Mauratone lions have amazing speed, a full grown one is said to have the ability to out-run a cheetah. Over the years, she wanted to find a new pride. So she said goodbye to her old pride, promised she would visit sometimes, promised if she couldn't find or make one she would return, and set off to find a new pride
