Name: Damu (Swahili for 'blood/blood-shed')

Age: Currently in my timeline: 1-1 1/2 (teens).

Breed/species: Lion.

Parentage:  Vitani X *currently unknown*

Siblings: One half sister, Zahira.

Personality: Rough and rather blunt, He bareely gets spoken to anymore so his social skills are arkward very much. Returns what is given so bhas never really loved anyone, or vice-versia.

History/Background:  Damu was the accidental product of a Fling Between Vitani and a Unknown but to her, Pridelander male as he refused to acknowledge her after she told him of her 'condition'. Vitani somewhat loathed her incoming bundle of joy' at first, blaming him for the male/father's rejection of her. In 'revenge' She first rejected the cub at first, not allowing him to feed. Nala observed this and grabbed Damu away for the time being, Kiara letting him nurse with her two recently born cubs. Finally, much to nala's satisfaction, Vitani's motherly insincts led her to accepting her cub.

Vitani's natural mothers love only went so far; To hinder it more, Damu looked much like Vitani's deceased brother nuka; She hated to be reminded of him. She became a rather neglectful mother (much like her own) as he went from newborn to cub. Damu spend alot of time with The royal twins (There had been a third cub, female who was still-born) Eusi and Tan, The later of witch was born blind. But he began to see them less and less as both kovu and his sons recieved education on kingship from simba.

Mostly later in his cubhood, he played alone avoiding the other cubs of the pride;  his mother rarely cared what he did.

As the cubs reached teenhood, lessons where less frequent so he saw Eusi and Tan more; Eusi was rather a bit egotistic and bold by now, while his blin d brother was smart, but soft-spoken. Eusi dared Damu to wander into  the 'abandoned' outlands; at first he refused. but days later after his mother had brushed him off, rather angry he stalked off, and slipped into the abandoned outlands.

There he met some rather insane females, Zahira (C) to Destiny_Wolf (laura) who turned out to bea older half-sister, and Akili (c) Achala. being hormonal and as jealous and angry as he was, when it was suuggested they kill simba, he blindedly agreed, suggesting the plan that resulted in his death; The kidnapping of Tan (performed by Zahira with Damu as 'bait'), anmd a threat to kill him unless Simba traded himself in exchange. Simba did, but un-knowingly after Damu had seen sense and lead Tan away and back.

Damu had rushed to Kovu after, knowing Zahira would be out to kill again, and told him everything. Kovu, perhaps due to his own past exprences, forgave him, rushing to find her; they did. She had already murdered again, Nala's friend Kari.

Damu rushed in as the other lions arrived starting a fight witch resulted in his severe facial scarring. Zahira escaped, On pre-tense of being pregnant. A week later Damu came upon the ending scene as kovu killed Zahira off, after another attempted murder, of his sister-in-law. He felt no regret.

Damu is avoided and disliked by most of the pride, as he admits and feels guilt for sImba's death.

Relation to The Lion king: Son to vitani, was nursed for a time by Kiara, was a cause of simba's death.
