Description: Golden fur, lighter patches on chin, chest, stomach and some on undersides of legs. Red eyes, brownish tail and brownish inside fur of ears.

Personality

    Dhahabu, is a caring rebellious young lioness. Eager to spot and stop injustice the young princess has befriend some of the Hyenas in the Canyon Pride area, who were going with out food or medicine. Dhahabu, is intelligent,a good fighter and good with medicine too. Dhahabu pregnant with her own child is good with her younger brothers and her newborn sister, as well as all the other cubs. 

 Dhahabu was never really good at being social, she resented Kiara and saw her as what she did not want to become. That is what lead to her exile in her own pride. The noble lionesses hate her and the lionesses of lower class who she likes and cares about are forbidden to talk to her! 

Dhahabu was always curious as a child and so she went to see the Hyenas and after talking to them became friends with them. She now talks to them every day.  Dhahabu only hearing good things about Zira from her friends the Hyenas considers Zira a role model and dangerously so.

Always a tomboy Dhahabu is good at fighting even if her mom doesn't want her to be. The head lioness underestimates her as many others do the only one in the whole pride who doesn't is Kuponya. Dhahabu is the only one to see Kuponya with out her mask. Leader of the rebellion, Dhahabu doesn't want to be princess!

History

Dhahabu was born in the Pridelands, her mother, Maska had traveled from Canyon Pride to talk to Simba. The meeting between King Simba and Queen Maska was scheduled to take place just after Kiara's coronation, however Maska went into labor right after the ceremony. 

    After Dhahabu's birth her parents decided to stay in the Pridelands for a while so that Maska could recover. Kiara and Dhahabu were expected to be friends as they were around the same age and living in the same place. Originally Dhahabu and Kiara were friends, they explored, took risks, and had fun but as time went on they began to separate. Kiara while still childish became more girly and Dhahabu grew more mature but still loved to explore.

    Dhahabu began to feel betrayed by her old friend as Kiara often played with Tifu and Zuri instead of her. In response Dhahabu began to explore the Pridelands on her own. Their parents began to worry that the two girls were no longer friends and so would make them play together. This didn't work of course and Dhahabu felt left out even when she played with Kiara, Tifu and Zuri because they had nothing to talk about. It became painfully clear to Dhahabu that Kiara no longer was her friend.

    Time passed and soon Dhahabu and her family eft the Pridelands to return home to the Canyon Pride. Queen Maska became pregnant again and soon had a healthy female cub. The young cub was namedTibia. Dhahabu loved her younger sister and the two explored the Canyon Pridelands all the time.

    The two were exploring when they ran into a rouge male. The rouge attacked them and blinded Tibia in her left eye. Kuponya saved Tibia's life but was unable to heal Tibia's eye. Dhahabu has felt guilty for her sister's accident ever since.

    After Tibia's accident their mother, Queen Maska, forbade any cubs from leaving the sight of the Pride. Dhahabu hated the rule and often disobeyed it, making Queen Maksa very angry. Tibia never left the Pride's sight after her attack.

    Queen Maska gave birth to three more female cubs, Sabaya, Ziada, Munria and one male cub, Caleb. Dhahabu enjoyed taking care of all her younger siblings but longed for adventure. 

    Dhahabu grew jealous as her brother were trained to fight but she wasn't. Whenever she confronted her mother on the issue her mother would say that Dhahabu was to precious to be hurt. Dhahabu was then trained in basic hunting but was pulled out for the same reason. Eventually Dhahabu took an interest in herbs and was allowed to do that until she was Queen.

    On her way to Kuponya Dhahabu came across an injured hyena.  He begged her not to hurt him, confused she asked why she would do that. He told her that some lions had hurt him. Dhahabu grabbed some herbs to help him and took him back home. The hyenas there thanked her for her good deed and after learning that they were starving she began to bring them food as well as well as medicine. The hyenas would tell her stories of a 'brave and noble' lioness named Zira. Dhahabu began to admire Zira after hearing these stories and sought to more than just bring the hyenas the things they needed.

    On her way back from visiting the hyenas Dhahabu found a rouge male lion. They became friends and then something more. Dhahabu began returning to her pride later and later at night. Her mother and Kuponya began to worry. Dhahabu's father eventually found the rouge lion and drove him out. Dhahabu was devastated.

    Alone, devestated, and sympathetic to the hyenas there was only one thing that could make Dhahabu's life worse. Soon Dhahabu found out that she was pregnant and Kuponya told her that she no longer train her because of this. Alone in her pride, not knowing where the father of her cubs was or if he would want them Dhahabu did the only thing she could think to do. She ran, far away from her pride, far away from those who had doubted her, far away from the hyenas her only friends
