Story :

Diata is born in Pridelands and she was raised by Kula’s mother. Her true mother lived in her own pride. So she’s Kula adoptive sister. She doesn’t spend a lot of time with her father but she’s considered Simba's cousin and a “offficial” member of the royal family. She loves to play with the others cubs. She had a crush on Simba so she doesn’t really like Nala because she was jealous of her. But she knows that Simba likes Nala. Diata was very sad about that. She befriends Tojo and he became her best friend. She had a crush on her but he was too shy to tell her. When Mufasa and Simba died, she was very sad and spent whole nights crying. Her father becames king and the life at the Pride Rock becames very difficult. When she was a teenager, she ran away. She arrived in the jungle and she found Simba. She was very happy. She finally had the opportunity to be alone with him even though there was also Timon and Pumbaa. She didn’t want to go back to Pridelands and felt good in the jungle. Diata knew she couldn’t be Simba’s mate because they’re cousins but she was okay with that. She was with him, and that was all that mattered to her. But one day, when they’re adults, Nala found Simba and and she convinced him to return to Pridelands. Diata was very angry because she didn’t want to go home but she didn’t want Nala to steal Simba. Simba finally managed to convince her to come and tell her that it was their duty and that they were Pridelands heirs. Simba defeated Scar and the peace returns to Pridelands. Nala becames Simba’s mate and queen. Diata was heartbroken and comforted by Tojo.
