Personality: Diego is a true gentleman, always polite and minding his mannors, he loves to help others who are in need of it, and if they're females, he'll be even more eager to get them out of trouble. He is a latin lover, who enjoys the company of lionesses alot, he's quite flirty, but still not the kind of guy who just uses girls and eventually breaks their hearts. Diego is very open minded, and if it was up to him he'd welcome everyone with open arms, he doesn't look anyone in the bad way, and believes everyone deserves a chance. Diego is a guy whop prefers to live in peace with others, and hates arguing and fighting, he thinks it's not an answer to anything.

History: Diego was born in a zoo in Rio De Janeiro, to loving parents whom he learned all about the good and bad things about life, and everything else that was important for him to know. He loved his parents dearly, they meant the world to him, and they managed to raise him into a handsome and decent adult lion. But one day, everything changed, when the zoo's management decided to transform him to a nature reserve in Africa. Idea of leaving his parents was not too temptation for Diego, and he tried to fight back not to be transformed, but it wouldn't work. After saying goodbye to his mother and father, he was forced to the box, and his trip to Africa began. But the minute the plane had landed, and his cage was opened, he took off, running as fast as his legs could carry him, and fled the zoo keepers who chased after him, but didn't catch him. He ran all the way to the jungle, and when he was sure his pursuers were gone, he stopped, catching his breath, and sat down. Diego looked around him, confused and lost, and had no clue where he was. He got up, and began to walk forwards, soon arriving to a small lake, and went to get himself a drink. But then, on the other side of the lake a golden orange lioness showed up, Diego immidietally lifted his head, he couldn't help noticing she was stunningly beautiful, and the most gorgeous thing he'd ever laid eyes on. Diego kept staring at the lioness, she didn't seem to notice him, so, being a latin charmer he took a confidence smile on his muzzle, raised an eyebrow and slowly walked up to the lioness, who now raised her head, and looked at him. He kindly introduced himself, and said where was from, and it turned out the lionesse's name was Darah. Diego explained his situation to Darah, and she, feeling rather for the lonely lion, inivted her to stay in their pride, after she'd ask the king of course. King Adrian was mercyfull enough to let Diego stay in his pride, and starting then he was a member of the Waterside pride. He found himself growing kind of attached to Darah, and developed a crush on her, all though he didn't want to admit, he kept flirting with her, and tried to get her attention, but she didn't go along with it. Diego didn't give up though, and was sure that after time had passed, some day he'd manage to win her heart.

Relation to TLK: Lives with the Waterside pride, that was once ruled by a friend of Mufasa.
