Personality: Dogo is a quiet and rather closed boy, he doesn't talk much except to those he trusts and to him you must prove you're worth trusting, before he can be your friend. He has a low self confidence, and prefers to stay on his own, rather than hanging in large croups with other lions around him. Dogo is kind of superstitious, he believes that having too many people around him brings bad luck, or that if he follows others, he will face trouble, and that's another reason why he prefers to stay on his own. Dogo doesn't like being around females, because he is afraid he will embarass himself or that they will laugh at him, plus he thinks of himself as not as good looking as the other males.

History: Dogo was born in a large litter of 6, but sadly he was the only cub that survived. His mother died giving birth to him, so his father had to raise him alone. It was rough in the beginning, but they got along surprisingly well, and Dogo's father taught him how to hunt and fight, and how to defend himself in a dangerous situation. Dogo was growing and maturing fast, but sadly, when he became a teen, his father was killed by poachers. He was now all alone, and for a long time he was depressed and didn't care about anything or anyone, he just roamed and wandered the plains of Africa, when he finally arrived to the Pride lands. He was allowed to stay by king Kovu and queen Kiara, and he immidietally took a liking at their daughter, princess Neira, the only problem was that she was interested in another male, named Sefu. Dogo knew his chances of winning Neira's affection were hopeless, so he gave up. One night, Dogo was sitting on a hill and watching the stars, when suddenly Neira showed up, and wondered why he was sitting there all alone. He told her he was thinking he should tell a certain lioness about his feelings for her, and when Neira asked him who the lioness was, he was quiet for a moment, but then confessed it was her. Neira was very surprised, but she had to tell him she already liked someone else. Dogo, having known all the time how things were, was still heartbroken, and decided to leave the lands, even though Neira begged him not to, and said she wanted to remain friends with him. But Dogo said he couldn't stay, he just couldn't bare to see her every day knowing she didn't feel the same way. So, he then left Pride lands, and continued living in the jungle as a rogue. After some days of travelling, Dogo found a little cb laying on the savannah. He went to see if the cub was alive, he was, and when he opened his eyes he was scared of Dogo. Dogo said he wouldn't hurt him, and took him to the watering hole where he could get a drink. Dogo named the cub Erevu, and decided to raise him as his own son. They continued travelling together, and a strong bond formed between them. Then, one day, Erevu had dissappeared, and Dogo searched for him desperatly, until he came across a brown lioness, who had found Erevu. Erevu was excited, he pounced to Dogo and pragged how he'd made a new friend, who Dogo learned was named Uzuri. Dogo stared at the lioness for a moment, she was quite beautiful, but then shook his head and thanked her for finding his son. He then explained that he wasn't really Erevu's father, just adoptive father. Now, Dogo and Uzuri became friends, and she hung around with them as they travelled, she and Erevu also developed a strong bond together. Dogo was happy, he liked the little they had formed, and Uzuri seemed like the perfect mother figure for Erevu. In time, Dogo started developing some strong feelings for Uzuri, stronger than friendship, and soon he realized he was falling for the lioness. But, remembering what happened with Neira, he was too afraid to confess his feelings to her, fearing his heart would be broken again, and his special friendship with Uzuri would be ruined, and he didn't want to loose her.

Relation to TLK: Lived in the Pride lands, had a crush on Kovu and Kiara's daughter.
