History:Etana was the first born child of Zira and Scar, after Nuka the failure. She was born with her twin sisrer Sutana. When Zira became pregnant she was excited but less so when she gave birth to two girls, and one was to nice. Scar ordered her to kill Etana, and Zira could not so she went to her outlander lioness Digger and told her to take Etana to the Pridelands and drop her off. Digger did just that and stayed at the pridelands to raise her, when she was old enough Digger returned to the outlands. 

Etana was raised with Kiara and the two were as close as sisters. Etana was nothing like her outlander family, she was the black sheep, she was a loving kind generous lioness. When the outlander fight broke out she refused to join her mother's side even clashing with her younger sister Namira, and her twin sister Sutana. After the fight Namira was given a second chance and she came back to live in the pridelands with Vitani and Kovu. Sutana left back to the outlands, refusing to join the pridelands, becoming the new leader of the out lands,.

While out on a hunt one dayy she was attacked by a group of hyenas and saved by a young male lion named Ngosi the son of Kula. She thanked him and slowly began falling for him but had her doubts as she was Scar and Ziras daughter and she feared it would get in the way of their relationship but it didn’t and the two became mates.
