Name: Jabari (meaning "brave"/"fearless" in Swahili) 

First Apparition Date: 2016 (2018 for my version of him) 

Species: Lion (Panthera Leo)

Family: Sarafina (mate), Nala (daughter) 

Age/Generation: Adult, born during Ahadi's reign (Several months younger than Mufasa, a few days older than Sarafina).

Status: Deceased

Residence: Pride Lands

Alignment: Good

Appearance: Jabari was a dark golden lion with a red mane, thick dark red eyebrows and dark turquoise eyes, similar to his daughter's. 

Personality: He started off as a reckless cub who often got himself in trouble to impress Sarafina. He was also really talkative, especially if he did something he was proud of. He was nonetheless a kind, friendly lion. 

Like And Dislikes:  He idolized the Lion Guard and supported them in every way. He wouldn't never say no to a challenge. He was also very in love with Sarafina, but never knew she didn't really feel the same way. 

Fact About Him: Jabari's character is based off Rafiki's painting in a Lion Guard episode, where it decipts Nala's father. He also pretty much looked similar to his grandson Kion (Even though they're not truly related by blood, in my universe). 

History: Jabari was an only cub born in the Pride Lands. He once tried to impress Sarafina and Helena by climbing a tree, but fell off. Fortunally, the Lion Guard, the one before Scar's, came and rescued him. (Or was it really Scar's Lion Guard? I dont know yet.)

He grew more mature and less reckless though, and eventually became Sarafina's mate, and for a short time. 

Being a huge fan of Scar's Lion Guard, he sometimes followed them to see them doing their duties. But one night, he heard distant roars during a date with Sarafina. Out of curiosity, he came to see what happened to the Lion Guard... And never came out alive.

Jabari died before the birth of his daughter.
