Distinguishing Features: orange-brown fur, eyepatches, blue-purple eyes, dark brown tail, coloured paws and thighs.

Personalty: Jana is stubborn, brave, loyal, caring and loving. She's very unique, and this makes her wiser than her sister. She's often the brains of the two. Her ideas sometimes get out of hand, but she's normally very good. She aims for the pride to prosper. She even enjoys being friends with Kesho, a lion from the Pridelands.

History: Jana was born with one older twin sister Dama to Michezo and Ashura. She and Dama were the best of friends, and looked up to their father. Michezo had decided to leave the problem of who would be his heir to later. Jana knew that it would be Dama, but still played with her sister. She was happy for her sister, and when Dama asked her why she was smiling so much, she merely replied "No reason". But her happiness was not to last. Their uncle, Magumu eventually caught up with them and was out for blood, their blood. Dama and Jana clambered up a tree as Michezo chased off his brother-in-law. The chase ended when Magumu fell of a cliff to his death. Jana was relieved that it was over, but noticed Dama was not herself. Jana then realised that her sister had developed a fear for strange males and had become more isolated than ever. Jana was sad. She spent each day searching for a method to bring her sister out of her shell. Without knowing, she was on the border of the Pridelands and bumped into another cub. She found out this cub's name was Kesho, and that he was just exploring. The two engaged in a atlk and Jana felt like they were best friends. She managed to tell him about her problems at home. Kesho wanted to know whether he could do anything to help. She grumpily told him that if he could bring Dama out of her shell that would be a miracle. Kesho leapt up to it, taking it as a challenge. Knowing Dama's stubborn character, Jana told him it was a bit risky. But Kesho was insisting a lot. So, sighing, Jana told him that she'd let him take the challenge and would do anything for him if he brought Dama back to her old self again. The sun had begun setting and Jana bid her new friend bye and went home. Days passed and Kesho did everything he could to bring Dama out of her shell. But nothing seemed to work. Jana almost gave up, but Kesho told her to hope. Time passed, and the two got closer and closer, becoming the best of friends. Jana found that he was just like her. The two corelated their problems and developed a bond. As they grew into adults, Kesho gave one final try to help Dama. This time, it seemed to work. Jana stepped in and helped Kesho. Soon, Dama was a little less afraid of strange males. The duo kept this up for days and every time, it seemed that Dama was becoming better and better. Dama wasn't afraid of males anymore, she was just a little hostile around them. Jana admitted that it was better than nothing. She told Kesho that  she would do anything for him now. He rememebered the offer she made him a long time ago and asked her if that offer still stood. When she replied that it did, he asked her whether she knew of a place where he could live. He told her of his plan to become a rogue, but instead she invited him to stay in her pride. He accepted the offer happily, and continued to help her in many ways. He helped her in her hunting, making her the pride's best huntress.
