Personality: He is calm, protective, and loyal. He looks after others, and stands there to motivate them only when they want to be motivated. He doesn't doubt their judgement, and will go along with whatever they want to do, unless it is to hurt someone. He has good leadership skills, but doesn't like to take charge much. He doesn't really show if he likes a lioness, but will try to treat them with more kindness, and sometimes gives them extra meat. His only hope is to give others good advice that they could use later in life. He can seem a bit over-protective sometimes, but it is only out of the love he has for someone. He tends to be attached easily to anyone, and when they betray him he falls hard. His downfall is loving too much to let anyone go, and will try anything he can to keep his loved ones safe.

Pride: Chumvi's Pride

History: He was born on accident to Malka and Tama. Tama already had a mate, but ended up with Malka's cubs, so she had to get rid of them. She gave them out to other prides, one in a different pride in hopes that they wouldn't tell her mate. She gave Jelani to Chumvi, knowing he would take care of him. Chumvi, already having two cubs, gave him to a lioness of his pride who cared for him. He grew up alongside the ever shy Ochieng, who became like a brother to him. At first, he only saw Amara as a friend. But then, as he grew, they became more distant, and soon, he rarely saw her because he was too busy training. He knew Ochieng saw her, but didn't go with him. He shared a den with Kulia, and did gain a small crush on her. Finally, after many years, he saw Amara for the first time. She had grown so much, and was now a beautiful, young lioness. He didn't know how to react, and wondered what to do for a while.

Soon, he would snag her an extra piece of kill, or bring her a flower. He hoped he wasn't coming on too strong. He took his jobs seriously, and gave it all he had on hunts and when guarding. When Amara watched, he tried to show off a bit, but it didn't really work out, as he tripped, or alerted the prey. One day, Chumvi sent him to Simba's Pride to give him a message on any available males for Amara. When he arrived, he met Simba and Nala, along with Kiara. It turns out, Simba did have a male, one who had been dropped of by a light tanish cream lioness. The male, it turns out, was his brother, who was a big bachelor, looking for a special lady. At first, he thought it was going to be awesome having a brother, but Mudiwa only cared about females.

Soon, he found himself fighting over Amara with Mudiwa, which led to some gruesome fights, both physical and verbal. Then, Mudiwa almost killed him by leading him into a trap where hyenas came to try and kill him. Luckily, Chumvi stumbled upon the scene and rescued him. Chumvi didn't believe that Mudiwa had set it up, and refused to let him leave the pride. But, soon, both of the boys were rejected, as Amara found someone else. Thankfully, Mudiwa left, giving the pride peace. Heartbroken, he decided to remain her friend, but was soon spending more time on guard duties, or patrol, hardly seeing Amara, but they caught up every once in a while. Kulia proved to be a very good friend, comforting him about his loss, and soon, they grew closer and became mates.
