Personality: Joto is shy but also rude and mean. He can be generous and sometimes slightly nice to his sisters, but he hates Desemba and acts very rude towards him.
History:
Joto was born around the same time as Sabaya. Because Desemba was the first born, he was going to be king when he was an adult. Joto wanted to be the future king, and like Mufasa and Scar, hated Desemba because he was going to be king instead.
When Joto was a cub he ran away from the canyon after being teased by Desemba's friends. He wanted to be a rogue, not realizing how hard it would be to survive, exspecially because he was a cub and didn't even know how to hunt.
One day he ran into his uncle, Ni. Joto had never met him before, and had only heard stories about him. Ni explained that it was not safe for Joto to be a rogue, and that he must go back to his pride. So Joto went back to his pride, although he still wasn't happy there. Sometimes Joto would visit Ni, because he was one of the only lions who understood his feelings.
Relation to TLK: His uncle is Ni and he is friends with him.
