Back story:

Kaleb was born a few (Lion) years after Simba was, He was the first born of Jaden and Esmerelda as was Prince of the Gesin lands. A few days after his birth, He met Mufasa and Simba, who came to visit his fathers pride in order to meet Kaleb. Kaleb couldn't see them as he was still on a few days old but he could smell them so once his eyes had opened and adjusted around a month later, He recognised them them almost instantly. He got along well with Simba and played with him a lot. Kaleb and his parents would sometimes visit the Pridelands to see Simba and his family and spend time with them. Kaleb soon grew to look at Simba as a best friend.

One day when Kaleb was a cub, He went to the Pridelands to see Simba and be cubsitted by Sarabi, whilst his mother gave birth to two new little siblings for him to play with, Their names were Jasmine and Shasta. Kaleb loved his sister and brother to bits and played with them often. He felt like he needed to protect them as much as he could whilst they were still young.

One day, A few weeks after his siblings were born, They went to visit the Pridelands. Kaleb couldn't wait to show off his siblings to Simba. He hadn't seen Simba few a while and couldn't wait to see his best friend. Instead he found out that Simba and Mufasa were dead,

He decided to help teach them to look after themselves by teaching them life lessons and basic life skills. The little cubs often wouldn't listen to him and mess around instead which would get Kaleb a little stressed but it didn't stop him from joining the fun.

As a pre-teen, Kaleb spent most of his time in the Gesinlands with his friends and family. Kaleb was lucky, there was a lot of cubs around his age that he could play and spend time with, He had his own little friend group that he often would spend time with on a daily basis. But one day, His little sister Jasmine took him out of pride territory and to the Pridelands Kaleb remembered the Pridelands from his childhood and it brought back memories of him and Simba and it upset him a little being there. Jasmine introduced him to Nala, Kula, Tama, Tojo and Chumvi. They told him about how they used to be friends with Simba too and how he would always mention Kaleb a lot. Kaleb got on well with the cubs but he got on with Nala, the most, They could relate to each other well, considering they were both Simba's best friends. He even grew a little crush on her.

He started to visit the pride lands often, meeting more of his sisters friends. One of them was one of Scars cubs, Gursharon. At first he didn't like her and acted cold towards her, Because he remembered what Scar was like and didn't like him at all.

But eventually, He saw she wasn't like her father, she was better then that and became good friends with her.

It wasn't until He was a teenager that he grew a crush on Gursharon along with having a crush still on Nala. He and his siblings spent a lot of their time training in royal duties and other tasks in preparation for adulthood and to train them for in case they become future king queen. Kaleb being the oldest, was going to be the next king before his siblings came along but He didn't really mind whether he would be king or not, He wanted to be a Guard.

In the middle of his teenage years, Kaleb had a short romance with Nala, It didnt last that long though, A few months into their romance Nala found heself questioning her feelings for Kaleb and wondering if we just her replacement for simba considering how similar he acted to him sometimes. Their romance ended after almost a full year.

Near the end of his teenage years, he went to visit the pridelands after not being able to go there for a few months, There was a search going on, There were hyenas everywhere, Even more then usual. Kaleb had to be extra cautious and Careful to not be caught. He bumped into Nala who took him to a secret cave the hyenas didnt know about and told him about how Gursharon and Dakarai, One of Scars other cubs had gone missing, Nala suspected Gursharon had run away but as for Dakarai's whereabouts, she was unsure. The news was a shock to Kaleb and It deeply upset him. He confessed to Nala about how he was planning on asking Gursharon to be his future mate and come to live in them Gesinlands with him. He left sadly and decided not to visit the pridelands anymore, Not just because memories of Simba and Gursharon were there but because of the increased security in the pridelands.

A few months later, Just at the beginning of his years as a young adult, Kalebs father held a Ceremony. It was time to choose the future King or Queen of the Gesinlands.. Kaleb and his siblings had to some tests in leadership, fighting, patrolling, problem solving and hunting. After the tests and a break for the three siblings. Jaden announced the new ruler of the Gesinlands. It was Jasmine. Kaleb was proud of his little sister and congratulated her with a loving nuzzle and a hug. Kaleb was given job as Lead guard of the Gesinlands.

One day during his adult years, whilst patrolling the border with his fellow guards, He saw two lioness running into the Gesinlands with looks of terror and exhaustion on there faces, It didn't take long for him to recognise the two lioness were Kula and Tama. They had run away from the pridelands to tell Kaleb and his Siblings that Simba was alive and needed help taking down Scar and restoring the pridelands to its beauty. Kaleb reported the news to his father and mother who ordered the pride to help Simba with defeating Scar, Jasmine and Kaleb came along too and along with the help of Nala, Simba, Kula, Tama and the other lion and lioness of Simbas pride, Scar was taken down and Simba became King with Nala at his side.

After the ceremony of crowning Simba, Kaleb decided to introduce himself to Simba again, He doubted very much that Simba would remember him and was extremely shocked and happy when he did. He introduced Simba to his little brother and Sister.

The two had a catch up talk, They talked about their pasts, Kaleb admitted he has missed Simba very much and was extremely glad to see him alive and well. He asked Simba to promise him something, To not harm any of kids of Scars bloodline. Simba promised him and crossed his heart before the two parted ways and returned to their prides...... ​
