History: Kari was born to a young loner lioness named Raina, who had mated with an older male, who then ran off. Raina was left to raise her young daughter by herself, and did the best she could in looking after her. Kari didn't seem to care she was raised in a single parent family. In fact, she didn't really seem to care that much. She was a very excitable cub, who would love to wander off and explore, breaking the rules her mother set. As she grew older, she began to explore further and further away from home. So one day, she went into the Pride Lands, and met Nala. They became good friends, and began to play every day together. This lasted until Nala brought Simba along to meet Kari. The two didn't get along, and as soon as Simba heard she was the daughter of a loner, it got even worse. He told his father Mufasa, who banned Kari from coming to the Pride Lands again. Kari was upset by not being able to see her friend again, so she had to stay out in the area between the Pride Lands and the Outlands. When she was a teenager, her mother passed away, and she knew she couldn't survive in this area anymore. She migrated to the Outlands. She lived on her own for a while, until she was captured by Zira, who forced her to become one of her gang. She didn't enjoy this at all, and always wanted to escape. When Zira finally perished, she took her chance: she finally went to the Pride Lands. She and Nala met up again, and they still got on well. Nala introduced her to her family, including Simba, who didn't seem to be very impressed, but he let her stay. Kari became the Pride babysitter, as she loved looking after the cubs before she was even given the job. She loved living at the Pride Lands, and was actually a bit sad when Simba was killed by Zahira, but she decided she'd have to get on with life. She was happy when Kvu took over: he seemed like a nice kid. She continued doing her duties, until she became the next victim of Zahira before Kovu finally killed her. She was looking after cubs when Zahira pounced, and took her life.
