Distinguishing Features: brown-cream fur, reddish-brown mane, dark brown ears, light eyepatches, outlander nose, green eyes, coloured thighs, colourless front paws, brown back paws.

Personality: Kesho is a straightforward young lion. He prefers to tell the truth than to lie. He's pretty sensitive when it comes to his friends. He has a pretty adventurous personality, which makes him different from the other cubs. But, when he makes friends, he sticks with them forever. He's in no hurry to grow up, and takes a casual approach to everything.

History: Kesho was one of the most different cubs in Pride Rock. He was mostly a victim to taunts from the other cubs. Tired of the tireless taunts, Kesho one day went to the border of the Pridelands. There, he literally bumped into another cub. Startled, they both turned to run from each other, but stood their ground. Kesho tried to make himself intimidating, but apparently it wasn't working for the other cub. She laughed and told him that it wasn't really working. He grumpily replied that she didn't have to rub it in. She retorted that she wasn't trying to do such a thing. Kesho was amused by this little lioness. He introduced himself and she told him that her name was Jana. He told her that it was a nice name, and then noticed that she was speaking normally to him. He asked her why she wasn't picking on him like the other cubs did. She told him that there was no reason to pick on him as he was just like her. When he asked her if she was different too, she replied that she was. She wasn't like the other lionesses, she was a tomboy. Kesho found himself enjoying her company. He dragged the conversation on and slowly they started making a bond with each other. Kesho felt like he knew Jana forever. He found out that her family had been attacked by her mother's brother and hence, her sister Dama was isolated. Kesho wondered if he could do something, but then realised that the sun was setting and he had to get back before his mother worried. He bid Jana bye and told her that he would come back tomorrow. She told him that she was looking forward to it. As Kesho ran back, he kept thinking about Jana's problem. All the time, he kept thinking of a way to help Dama and Jana any way possible. The next day, Jana took him to visit her home and meet her parents. Michezo and Ashura liked the cream-brown cub a lot. When Kesho met Jana's sister, he found out that she had developed a fear of strange males. He and Jana did all they could to bring her out of her shell and see the world again. Days passed and soon Dama came out of her shell, mostly. She still acted  hostile to new males, but turned back to normal when she got to know them. Jana told Kesho that she would always owe him for this, but he told her that this was what friends did for each other. When she asked him whether they'd be friends forever, he was overjoyed to say yes. The two became inseperable as they grew into adults. The two understood each other so much, they could anticipate each others' movements correctly in a hunt. When Jana began to lag behind in her hunting, Kesho coached her into getting her timing right. And when he left the Pridelands, jana invited him to join their pride, which Kesho gladly accepted. 

Relation to TLK: Best friend of Nuka's granddaughter and lives in Nuka's daughter's pride.
