Personality: Kito is a very caring and sweet guy. He is always a gentleman and likes helping others. He is often underestimated but Kito is a very smart, and clever boy. He doesn't like violence but enjoys a good adventure. He is always opened minded and a great listener.

History:

Kito was the first birth child of Lela but his mother took in a cub before he was born named Asha. Kito was smaller than the other cubs but he grew just as fast and soon you couldn't tell the difference.

Kito and his older sister Asha were a pair that could never be separated. His sister and him were always off playing together and they seemed like best friends.Asha often was very protective of Kito and he felt a little left out. He didn't like being treated like a baby and thought he could do so much more if everyone wasn't holding him back but he knew that without his big sister he would be loss. Their mother was a hunter so when she was off hunting Kito and Asha were watched over by Sarabi. Sarabi was more like their loving aunt and Kito often wanted to play with Simba, but Simba was older than him and often wanted to play with Nala instead. Kito's best friend was Mheetu, Nala's little brother. The two loved to explore and often tried to play wrestle, though both of them weren't the best at it.

One day, Kito was out playing with Mheetu. They were trying to see who was brave enough to leave the pride lands and try to cross the river full of crocodiles but neither of them were. Just then Asha came to bring Kito home early. Kito asked her multiple questions but she didn't answer them until later that night. Their mother, Lela, had been kidnapped. Kito was very upset. He and his mother were very close. He was such a mommy's boy and Kito often spent all night talking with his mother. The two were so close and the thought of her being done was horrible. Asha promised that the king, Mufasa, would get her back really soon.

They didn't want to say it to anyone else. Mufasa was extremely busy but made time to talk to his closest friends about a plan to get Lela back but two days later news came that Simba and Mufasa died in a stampede. Scar, Mufasa's brother, took the thrown after that and everything was ruined. The hyenas tried to share the pride lands but took more food than they needed. The surviving animals left and the plants were dying. Scar was a horrible king and everyone but him knew it. Kito even witnessed his best friend, Mheetu's death. that was last straw. Asha made a plan to run away and get help. Asha and Kito left that night and no one even noticed.

Asha kept Kito's spirits up and the two were sure they would find help soon. Sadly, they were wrong. Asha and Kito were able to find a nice place with lots of food but there were no neighboring prides. They were sure it was over but while Asha was trying to hunt she ran into another cub named Musa. Musa was a skilled hunter and Asha made a deal with him. Musa gave them the antelope he caught and decided to come along with them to help. Kito and Musa became good friends right away. Musa told them that he had been on his own for years and told them many stories.

The soon became all great friends and the also finally found another pride. This pride looked just as bad as the pride lands and they could tell the king was not going to help them. Kito noticed Musa was acting nervous. That's when Asha saw their mother. She was going to rush in there but Musa stopped her. "It's not safe! There's too many of them! Please don't rush in there, not yet and not alone Asha," Kito begged his sister. They decided to make camp and hopefully come up with a new plan.

Asha snuck out that night and Musa went after her. Kito was all alone but was woken up by a loud noise. He looked up to find a large lion. Kito was too afraid to scream and felt help less but the lion didn't attack. The lion asked where he belonged and Kito told him the summary of his story. The lion told him about the pride's king, Ralu. Ralu was a horrible king who banished all the males who could challenge him and take the thrown. He was one of them. The lion introduced himself as Dogo and Kito took a liking to him. Kito asked if Dogo had seen his sister or Musa but Dogo had only noticed Kito alone. Dogo took Kito back to meet the other lions who were forced out of their homes. They were all very nice and Kito soon told them the story about his mother. The lions knew they wanted to help so Kito was given the chance to lead them to stop Ralu.

They charged into the kingdom where Kito found Asha, Musa, and his mother all fighting against Ralu. The lions Kito met worked together and were able to over throw Ralu. Kito was very proud of his good leadership skills and was happy to see his mother again. Kito then found out who Musa was. Musa was Ralu's son who had run away after realizing his father was not a good king. So, now that Ralu was gone Musa was able to take the thrown.

Kito, Asha, and Lela decided to stay and helped Musa rebuild his kingdom but Kito did want to return to the pride lands to help fix the problems there. It was a long walk back but when they did return they found that Simba was not dead. He had just taken the thrown from Scar and everything seemed great. Kito and Asha didn't ruin his moment but they did return to say hello to Sarabi and tell her the whole story.

Kito and Asha returned to Musa's pride, now adults. Kito was able to watch his big sister become Musa's queen and Musa went to Kito for any advice on what to do.
