Dislikes: Getting asked where he's from, flies.

Personality: Kpodo keeps to himself, but he still retains a sarcastic and teasing side. When he's in a good mood he's energetic, but he's also tempremental and bitter when he hears anyone mentioning his pride.

Parents: Kovu and Kiara.

History

Kpodo is Kiara and Kovu's first born. The young prince had so much potential and promise to the future of the pride lands. However as a cub, he was quite timid and shy, preferring to practice his pouncing by himself or patrolling with his father. He didn't connect well with the other cubs, which is why he only has one or two close friends. 

One day, Kpodo was practicing his pouncing as usual. But this time he strayed too far from the borders of the pride lands, ending up in a narrow gorge, with slippery rocks in its walls threatening to collapse at any moment. The young cub refused to sit around and wait for someone to findn him, he was scared out of his mind and he wanted to get out as soon as possible. So he began climbing up the walls of the gorge.

He was halfway through when suddenly one misplaced paw slipped and caused him to tumble down the gorge and the collapse of many rocks after him. Kpodo was burried under the rubble and was knocked out.

He opened his eyes to find a group of hyenas laughing and sneering at him as they circle him hungrilly. Snapping their jaws at him. He was terrified, in his weak and injured state he cannot defend himself. But two hyenas stepped in with a purposal, they claimed that raising a lion cub to be with their side and protect them from Simba and the lions is the smartest choice. And so, the hyenas agreed to keep Kpodo and raise him as one of their own so that he can keep them safe. Kpodo later learned the two kind hyenas' names as Skipper and Dash.

Despite Kpodo waiting patiently for someone to come for him, no one ever turned up. The hyenas told him that no one ever will, for he is in the outlands now. And the ego of the pridelanders prevents them from setting paw in these parts. Kpodo's hurt and sadness turned into anger and bitterness. He now holds a grudge against the pridelanders for leaving him.

Back at the pride lands, Kpodo was persumed dead. Multiple search parties were sent out to scout the lands, but to no avail. Words cannot describe Kiara and Kovu's grief. Little did they know that the lost prince is one of the hyenas. Running and hunting with them, and protecting them from anyone who means them harm.

Relation to the Lion King movie: Kpodo is Kovu and Kiara's son.
