Story:

Kuwa was born during Ahadi's rule. Kuwa and her family fled the Pridelands after King Ahadi exiled her father for hunting illegally at the waterhole. Kuwa didn't get much food, due to the fact that there wasn't much food in the outlands. The only animals other than her parents that were there was the hyenas. Kuwa grew up to enjoy the hyenas company, and would spend hours play fighting. She then became best friends with three hyenas the same age as her, their names were Shenzi, Banzai and Ed. Kuwa became protective over her friends.

One day they met a young lion cub, whose name was Taka. The hyenas and Kuwa didn't understand why Taka was there, but he was. "Why are you here?" Shenzi had asked him. Taka looked at her and said "Well, my friends and I were playing in the graveyard, when I fell down here." Banzai looked at him. "Do you think I should get the matriarch?" Banzai asked Kuwa. Kuwa looked at him and nodded. "Go ahead." She replied. "Uh... Stay there okay..? We'll go get our leader!" Shenzi shouted to him. It was weird that the matriarch didn't kill him. She only looked at him and asked if he needed help. The cub said he was a prince of the Pride Lands. This made Kuwa mad. This cub's father had exiled her family and the hyenas. But the matriarch made him promise to be our friend. He agreed to the promise, and also agreed to come back every day and bring them food.

Shortly afterward, Kuwa was greatful for the young prince's visits. They all became friends, and would play from dawn until dusk.

When Kuwa grew up, Taka had changed his name to Scar, and Shenzi had taken over as matriarch. Kuwa was a loyal follower of Scar, she would never leave his side. Soon, Scar had taken over the Pride Lands and let the hyenas, and Kuwa back into the Pride Lands. Kuwa treasured every moment of it. She was the most loyal follower of Scar. She would do anything to make him happy. Kuwa was kind of like Scar's servant, or messanger.

Kuwa, Shenzi, Banzai and Ed then found out that Scar betrayed the hyenas. Kuwa was furious. She knew not to trust him from the start!!

After Scar's death, the new king banished the hyenas and Kuwa once more. Kuwa was heartbroken, but she left with the hyenas, and became Shenzi's right-hand caracal. Kuwa was happy with the hyenas, and spent the rest of her days in the elephant graveyard with her true friends.
