Kuwinda was born an hour after Kiraka was. It had been only a few days after Kovu’s death but the pride rejoiced at the birth of the 2 cubs.

 Everyone was busy that day. Kurudi was helping Kopa and Vitani when Makini was helping Kiara. Makini looked down at his new sister and he thought she was beautiful. He knew she was going to enjoy being a brother!

 Kuwinda was a playful cub –Kiara was shocked at how much she was like herself– and she loved to be with Kiraka. They went everywhere together; never leaving each other’s sides.

 They constantly got into mischief!

 On one occasion they decided to pounce on Simba when he was sleeping. They never decided to do that again! They also interrupted the privacy of Kurudi and Makini when they were alone. They were certain they would stay together for the rest of their lives!

 As a teen Kuwinda kept thinking about the future. She saw how here brother and his mate are attached to each other and their cubs. She wanted Kiraka to feel the same way about her as she did about him. She got the impression that Kiraka didn’t love her anymore. She became more and more upset. She wondered if she was wrong when she was a cub. She talked Timon about his useful phrases and he said one of them to Kiraka. This got him even more annoyed and Kuwinda even more upset.

 As she entered adulthood she found she was hunting a lot with the pride and she was very proud with here catches. She also found that Kiraka did actually love her and they spent many hours making future plans.

 A month later she summoned up the courage to tell Kiraka and the other members of the pride that she was with cubs.
