Personality: Sarcastic, witty, usually uses humor to hide his true feelings, still has a soft spot for his brother to whom he is very protective.

Story: Kwanza and his twin brother were born to Chumvi and his mate, Mashika, during the time when Chumvi's father, Scar reigned over the Pride lands. They had a rather decent and happy childhood, and the two brothers were inseparable. But then, the herds started to move on and the lands were starting to grow low on food. One day, their mother announced that she was going to have another cub. The two were very excited to become big brothers, but seeing as how things had changed, Chumvi decided it was best if his family left the Pride lands, since Scar might try to kill the new cub, despite it being his grand cub. So, he took Kwanza and Kondo to the border, told them to stay low and be as quiet as they could, and then went back to retrieve his pregnant mate. They waited, for a long time, but there was no sign of their parents even as the day started to turn into night. Kwanza had a feeling something had happened, and finally, their father returned - however, there was no sign of Mashika, and his eyes were filled with tears. Chumvi then brought the heart breaking news to his sons: Mashika and the new born cub had both died. Kwanza and Kondo were both crushed, and broke into tears. Chumvi comforted his sons, nuzzled them and told them that they would have to start a new life far away from the Pride lands. And so the three lions headed away, and found a small piece of land on which Chumvi started his own small pride. As time went on, and when Kwanza and Kondo had grown into adults, Chumvi decided that it would be time for them to return to the Pride lands.
