personality: Kweli was a ray of sunshine for the wntire pride. He was never upset or angry, always laughing and trying to help his family and friends. He was the golden boy of the pride, being the prince, but never used his position to be spoiled. He was a natural born leader among his friends and was very much like his father. He was extremely patient with his baby sister and loved spending time with his family

likes: practicing hunting, king lessons from his father, playing with friends, being a big brother to Uru, long walks around the pridelands with his parents

dislikes: hyenas, storms, snakes, bullies, when Uru pulls too hard on his tail, and anything that could hurt his family

history: Kweli was born less than a season after Mohatu assumed the throne, and was happily recieved by the whole kingdom. He was the apple of his parents eyes and the pride was sure that he’d make a good king one day. Mohatu loved taking his son around the kingdom and teaching him how to rule. Kweli wasn’t very old when his sister was born, but he wanted to be the best big brother and always made sure Uru was happy. He loved to play with the pride cubs, especially his betrothed, Subira. He never was bossy or used his status to get his way, he always listened to everyone and tried to make peace at all times, just like Mohatu. Tragedy blindsided everyone when at nine moons old, Kweli fell from a tree while exploring with friends and cut his hind leg. No one paid any mind until three days later he collapsed and could not stand up. After a week of fevers and useless herbs, Kweli died from infection in the prescence of his parents. Almasi never recovered, growing distant and dying a year or so later from grief perhaps, Mohatu became very overprotective of his remaining cub, and poor Uru was left with distant, fuzzy memories of her beloved big brother since she was so young. Kweli would have been a great king, but now he was a Great King of the Past
