Personality: Latifa is pretty much like her mother, Nala. She's a tough and strong willed girl, who doesn't let anyone boss her around or tell her what to do, especially males. She has a good heart, and she doesn't look anyone in the bad way, but if she feels like her close ones are being threatened, she will defend them, no matter what. Latifa is, as her name represents, a gentle and kind lioness who  wouldn't even dream of hurting anyone, but will fight if it's required all though she's strikly against violence. Latifa has good social skills, she gets well along with others and makes friends easily, even though she does choose carefully who she lets near her.

History: Latifa was the first born daughter to king Simba and queen Nala. She was born with 3 other siblings, two brothers and one sister, and she always had the closest bond with her older brother Kopa. But when Kopa died, Latifa was very sad and fell into depression, but as a couple of months went by, she came across a lion cub named Zuberi, who was, in fact the son of Tojo and Tama, very good friends of Latifa's parents. At first she was a bit careful about him, but once she got know him a little better she found him very nice and reliable, and also good to talk to, so they started spending more and more time together. Latifa found a good friend in Zuberi, someone she could always go to when she needed someone to talk to, and someone who would always be there for her, she felt very warm and safe around him, he was almost like the big brother she had lost. Latifa and Zuberi were truly inseparable, and when they were cubs, they swore they would always be there for each other, and nothing would ever come between them. When she found out that Kiara was made the heir to the throne instead of her, she was upset at first, but when she thought of it for a while, she knew Kiara would make a fine queen some day. Time passed, and Latifa and her siblings were growing up fast, soon they were all strong and healthy adult lions. Latifa's friendship with Zuberi was as strong as ever, but she couldn't help but notice Kiara had started hanging with an outlander by the name of Kovu. And when she learned he was the son of Zira, who had killed Kopa, she became even more worried and told her sister to stay as far away from him as possible, but Kiara refused to believe her, however this didn't stop Latifa, she decided to do whatever she could to prevent her sister from getting hurt.
