Distinguishing Features: brown fur, colorless paws, pink Pridelander nose, cream and brown eye patches, light green eyes, dark brown tail tuft.

Personality: Leala is rather shy, and doesn’t open up to many lions or lionesses. She has a very strong bond with Ashante though, and he is the one and only lion that she will 100% confide in. Ashante often brings her out of her shell, and she loves being with him. She is very kind and gentle with those she’s close to, and she wouldn’t hurt a fly. She’s very peaceful, and hates fighting. She hates it so much that she rarely even does it, though in very rare occasions she will fight; with words or claws.

History: Leala was born to two rouges in the Pridelands near Pride Rock. Sadly, one day her parents went to hunt, and they never returned. She wandered into Pride Rock, and the pride took her in. She was adopted by Uzuri and Safari, and she developed a strong bond with their grandson, Ashante, who was the son of Adia and Kefir. She always played with him, and enjoyed his company. A few days later Ashante went out on his own but he didn't come back. Soon news came back that Ashante was found dead near the water-hole. The news devastated Leala. She built walls and refused to get close to anyone else like she did to Ashante. She grew up as the loner of Pride Rock, and spent her day away from eveyone mourning her loss, and despite their efforts of trying to make her happy, nothing worked. A few years later hyenas attacked Pride Rock and soon everyone was fighting to the death. Leala fought as best as she could, and suddenly she saw a flash of orange fur. She panicked becaause she thought it was Safari, who was to old to be fighting. Leala tried to keep her eye on the shape, and soon the hyenas left. But Kefir, Ashante's father, was badly wounded and near death. Leala went over to the fallen lion, whose family was gathered around him. She saw the lion with the orange fur and quietly asked if it was Ashante. He replied that it was, and the twoo happily reunited, though they all sadly mourned Kefir's passing. The next day Leala went on a walk with Ashante and he told her that he loved her. Leala replied that she loved him as well, and the two became mates.

Relation to TLK: Is the mate of Ashante who is the grandson of Uzuri who is the sister of Nala.
