Personality: Malaika grows up to be a wise and gentle heart among most of her peers and pride sisters. She is known for her kind nature and respect for all living things. That's not to say she doesn't have her moments of course with every rose it has a thorn or two left un picked and Malaika has many. She tends to be direct and rather rude at times to those who show no respect for her. She has very little respect for anyone who disrespects her pride sisters or her pride in general. She can be a bit defensive if you hit the right buttons but who isn't in they're life. In her teen years however she was known as a complete rebel and wasn't afraid to tell off anyone who got in her way. She doesn't favor men who think they own the world or are better then those beneath him. She isn't afraid to be straight forward and tell them straight out how she feels regardless of what trouble she'll get in and believe me it gets her into a lot of trouble growing up.

Pride: Was born in the Kilimanjaro pride but as a cub was betrothed to a young prince in the pride lands.

History: After the events of the outlander and pridelander war coming to a close, Vitani leaves the pride lands with a few pride sisters in search of a new home. A few days of traveling and the group was taken in by a pride known as the Kilimanjaro pride. The leader though slightly older was a kind lion despite his looks. Vitani fell for him with in a few weeks and he announced her as his new queen. Though Vitani was shocked she was more then willing to accept the role even though she was slightly reluctant of it all. A bit of time passed by and Vitani gave birth to a beautiful baby girl and named her Malaika for in Vitani's eyes she was the angel that changed her life. Of course she did miss her family and wanted nothing more then to remain a part of them, she was shocked to hear that Kiara had recently given birth to a young prince named Kesha and once she heard of Vitani's cub she had an idea of betrothing the two in hopes of them becoming a larger and better kingdom then they we're.

Vitani with some talk from Kiburi was later convinced that it would be nice for they're daughter to have a decent future even though she was still a little unsure if she should agree to this but she did. As her daughter grew up with the looks of Kiburi she saw mroe of her in her personality then anything. Malaika took after Vitani in many ways and once she was old enough they made a trip to the pride lands to meet Kesha. Vitani hoped things would go well but of course her hopes we're dashed upon the two meeting and didn't hit it off as well as others would have hoped. In Malaika's words Kesha was a cocky male with no real good qualities other then his looks. Malaika was outraged when she heard that she was betrothed to the young stuck up male and refused but Vitani told her that it was sadly not her place to decide who she did and didn't marry which only angered her more.

As she grew up her bond with Kesha didn't really grow in fact she grew even more irritated with his attitude and eventually had enough. One day she told him exactly what she thought of her mate to be and little did she know how much affect she had on him for when she stormed away she did not see the look of hurt in his eyes though part of her didn't want to see it either. She didn't mean to hurt his feelings but sometimes the truth hurt more then anything. After that Malaika avoided him for days refusing to even look in his direction though she did notice a sudden change in his attitude after she had told him off. He seemed a little more thoughtful and kindhearted but even she didn't think things would last and with time he only proved her wrong when his attitude stayed as it was. He was kinder to his parents and to his subjects and even was kind to Malaika which shocked her due to her sudden outburst at him a few weeks prior. Of course she still has yet to speak of him about her outburst though they we're on a bit better terms she still wasn't sure if he had completely changed his ways just yet though her feelings are slowly changing.
