Personality: Mchumba is known to be a lot like her name implies; she's very sweet and kind, willing to help out others, even if she doesn't know them. She's very friendly as well, and isn't afraid to go up and say hello. She isn't like most lions, untrusting of other animals. She considers the ones that travel with her group family, and will always be there for them. She grows close to others very easily, and it's hard for her to let someone go. Also very playful, she's always up and about, doing something. She tends to have a motherly persona about her, and is always trying to make sure someone is safe and sound.

History: Mchumba was born to two rogues, Matata and Zaria. They were starting a small group, consisting of themselves, another lioness named Sauda, a meerkat named Sefu, a female bird named Asha, and a pregnant hyena named Marjani. Mchumba was the only cub born, so she was well celebrated. As she grew older, her mother grew more and more ill, though she didn't know that. Sefu was often babysitting her, while Sauda and Marjani tried to find enough food. Eventually, Marjani gave birth to a son whom she named Kibwe. Mchumba became fast friends with him, and once he was older, they played often, though Sefu wasn't happy having to babysit two rambunctious animals. Eventually, her mother Zaria died from the illness, leaving Mchumba without a mother. She mourned for days on end, and after a while, she was brought out of it, though she wouldn't forget her mother.

A few weeks after that happened, she found a Bat-Eared Fox cub named Faraji, and convinced her father to let him stay. So, the family grew even bigger, and she began to notice her father spending more and more time around Sauda. Soon, he announced they were mates, and hoping for cubs. She wasn't very happy at first, since she thought her father had completely forgotten about her mother. But after a talk with him, she realized he was just trying to move on and start a new life, saying he would never forget her. When she was a young adult, they finally announced they were expecting cubs, and she was excited at the prospect of having new siblings. Around that time, they arrived in a place full of greenery called the Pridelands, though they had no idea that a pride already lived here. When she was older, she, Faraji, Sefu, and Kibwe went exploring against Sefu's will, and ended up running into Kovu, Kiara, Simba, and a few others. At first, they were startled, but after they talked, calmed down.

Kovu and Simba found it strange that three lions could live happily with a bird, two hyenas, a meerkat, and a Bat-Eared Fox. They were, however, accepted into the pride, where she met a male named Scarabir. At first, they were only friends, and hung out a few times. But then, she grew feelings for him, and him for her. After a while, they finally became mates, and she couldn't be happier.
