Personality: A smooth talker and very persuading, he has the ability to make others do what he wants easily. He can seem leaderly sometimes, but thats mainly because he wants control over others so he doesn't seem weak. Very charming, he tends to make the ladies swoon, and he knows it. Clever and witty, he tends to snap back easily, making him very resilient. He tries to act strong and brave to impress others and earn respect. Others side with him easily as he has that charisma it requires. Though he isn't too loyal, since he hasn't found his place yet, he'll settle down once he finds it. He can be respectable to others, though it hardly shows, and sometimes is thought of as vain. He tries to act cool and smooth, always trying to impress someone, whether it be a lioness, or just some other animals like a zebra. He tends to be very short tempered when around any animals other than lions, since he thinks lions are superior. Though he acts cool and such, he can actually be a worry wort, always worrying about his younger sister, Nyoka.

History

History: Mjanja's father was a male who had left his old pride in search of making his own. He managed to get a group of lionesses to follow him, and after staking out a territory and choosing his queen, he was ready for heirs. Soon, she was pregnant, and gave birth to Mrithi, whom his father named since he was to be his heir. When he was a bit older, his father taught him how to be leader, though he had a different aspect than Mufasa. He said the one way to get the pride to follow you was to persuade them, and gain their trust. Mrithi got the wrong idea about becoming a leader, thinking it was based on popularity, and so Mrithi began an attention hog.

As a young yearling, his mother gave birth to his sister Nyoka, whom he liked a lot, even with her unnatural coat color. She was picked on and, to not be singled out, Mrithi did it as well, and his sister began to resent him, even though he tried to apologize. As he got older, he was to spend less time with his family and more time patrolling borders and gaining the respect of others. Finally, his sister had had enough, and left the pride, off to find a pride ruled by a king named Scar. Without his father's consent, Mrithi left to find her, but soon became lost himself, and learned what it was like to be without his father for once. He tasted what freedom was like, and didn't want to go back. So, he became a rogue and changed his name so that he fit in better. While being a rogue, he came across Tojo, Tama, Kula, Chumvi, and Ni, whom he became friends with before moving on.

As a young adult, he was out hunting a warthog when a male lion and a meerkat chased him off, as if friends with the warthog. Later, he went back to his pride to see if his sister was there, when a strange fire arose, and swallowed the lands his pride lived in. Thinking they were dead, he left, never to return and continued to travel. During his travels, he accidentally wandered into the Outlands, where he met Vitani and Zira, who tried to bring him to their side, but after finding out he didn't want to, they chased him out, attempting to kill him. He escaped, thankfully, but now avoided them at all costs. He also went to the Elephant Graveyard, which was empty of hyenas, but after wandering some more, he ran into a whole pack, consisting of Shenzi, Banzai, Ed, and a few others. After being chased out, he continued to wander in the Pridelands, looking to start his own pride.

Relation To TLK: Attempted to kill Pumbaa, but Simba and Timon stopped him, has met and was chased out of the Outlands by Vitani and Zira, was attacked by the same group of hyenas that aided Scar, sister joined Scar's pride and is an Outlander.
