Gender: Herm (Meaning she is both)

Personality: Monifa is a stubborn lioness she tends to do what she thinks is right even if it isn't exactly something she's proud of being right for she will stick with it. Monifa is prone to trust issues though due to how she was treated in her previous pride she has a hard time making friends and only has a habit of trusting most of her family. But other then that Monifa is a very kind and understanding lioness who is there for her friends and will defend her family at any costs. 

Parents: Rickon and Meina 

Siblings: Aisha, Deirdre, Ronin, Jelani, and Nia.

Nephews: Jabari, Mathis and Corvin, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ? (Yes she's got six more but haven't names or designs for them yet.)

History: Said to come along a line of old kings and queens, Monifa's family migratated far from the pride lands upon Scar's reign. Her mother being one of the many lionesses to suffer was forced to run away with her rogue mate. Meina and Rickon had searched for a long time gaining pride members as they went and soon found a land empty no prides ruling it so Rickon claimed it as his own and thus started the Haban Pride. 

Many years pass and Meina and Rickon have given birth to over six cubs the second youngest being Monifa. Monifa was born with a birth defect where she had both the genders of a male and a female and was able to reproduce but she would not grow a mane like her brothers but her build would be slightly thicker then most females.

Due to her birth she became very unpopular very fast among the pride many thought her a bad omen or just enjoyed mocking and making fun of her. However one day while playing with one of her nephews she came upon a new face a young wandering group one with a skinny male, a young teen lioness and a cub around her nephew and little sister's age. Her father was reluctant but allowed them to stay and thus Monifa met a new friend in the teen lioness known as Imani. 

The two grew very close to the point where Imani's step father grew annoyed. Her real father had gone rogue according to her and she rarely saw him but her step father was just a nuicence in general always insulting and causing problems for Monifa but the more it happened the more Monifa found comfort in young Imani.

Until they we're faced with a problem she was either to ignore her growing feelings or Imani and her family would leave. So they came up with a plan and late that night they left. Bidding some of her family a final farewell Monifa and Imani left to start their own pride which would soon be named the Ikemba Pride. They ran for what felt like forever till they came upon a small den to spend the night and talk about their dreams.

Soon enough they had found territory that was unguarded and Monifa claimed it as her own. And soon claimed Imani as her own as well. Some time passed and soon Desta, Desna and Moyo we're born and they couldn't have been happier. Monifa had gained a few pride sisters along the way to help guard the pride while she informed her family of the news.

Relation to TLK: Monifa's mother was one of the few lionesses to escape Scar's reign.
