History/Relation to TLK: Nadra has no parents; the whole Pride raises her. She was found as an infant in the tall grass at the base of Pride Rock by Mufasa, who then presented her to the Pride, where they cooed and marveled at her strange (but not uncommon) color. When Nadra grew a bit older, a full cub now, Mufasa made it Simba's--his own cub son--task to make Nadra feel welcome and accepted in the Pride as she grew. Simba made sure to play with her at least once a day--Sarabi had to remind him at first, when Narda would sit alone on the lip of Pride Rock, but now he remembered and did it for fun without thinking of it as a chore--and to include Nadra in the games he and Nala played. Other cubs teased Nadra sometimes, when Mufasa's and the older lions' backs were turned, but for the most part they all considered her a friend. Nadra began to develop a king-size crush on Simba, but denied it whenever asked. She plays with Nala and tries desperately to get along with the pretty tan lioness cub, but it's hard when Simba devotes his attention to his best friend, even if Nadra basically grew up spending time with him (as Mufasa planned, the kindly leader that he was to her).
