History : Born only a second before Kiona, he was very close to his twin, closer than most siblings. But, as he grows, Nikki finds himself attracted to his sister in a way that he's not proud of, but fearing the death penalty that is punishment for such a crime, he manages to keep silent about his deadly desire...at least until a small sentimental moment between sister and brother cause him to accidently lets it slip to her that he has an attraction to her,the resulting argument and her blunt refusal  makes him lose his temper, and, out of his mind with anger rapes her, leaving her pregnant with his cub.

When it becomes apparent to the pride about his actions, Frost, his beautiful betrothed becomes angry as well as devastated, and the wedding is called off.  But when Kiona proves too kind toward him to tell her upset parents whose fault it really was-as well as refuses to allow the true punishment-, he gets exiled instead of death, because Kiona took all the blame. Knowing that she may be killed, for she is not spared by the law of Mohatu, he tries to find a way to help, to tell what really happened. But he knows time is running out, and cares about nothing but his sisters life. But can he find a way to spare her life-and perhaps his own- before it's too late? Unknown to him, Kiona and Frost become understanding and start to search for him as he searches for them. Sadly, in his mad rush to find his way back to the Kingdom, he becomes very sick.

As an infection called Rignosha takes over his body, he becomes a shell of his former self. This is how his sister and betrothed find him, nursing him back to health in a weeks time. Now in his right mind, he fears his sister and begs her to kill him. But she reminds him of her love for him, a sisterly love that will never be broken.  He can't understand, for he has now surely gotten her forgotten in their pride, a lost soul of Royals. Because of him, her star shall never shine, for her lies to spare him make her just as guilty as he.

Upon this reminder, her eyes fade slightly, but she reminds him of the Promise, the sacred vow they took together after the stampede where he nearly lost his life as a cub. The vow to be there, to share love and hate, joy and pain; avenge each others attackers, and never give up. On each other, the world, the pride. He brightens at this,finally noticing Frost. The marriage is renewed, vows recited and promises made. But when that joyous event came a hard decision. To go back to their parents, their pride meant certain death. But- could they survive out here? In ruins... and with Kiona due in a month, could they raise a child safely? Food was a problem too. Under regular conditions, it wouldn't be enough. But, again, with Kiona heavily expectant,
