History:

Redasa is born from a older rogue and his mother, a Pridelander. She loves him instantly, but his father, though a kind lion, does not care for him, since he had only sisters, and did not know how to care for a son. He left them one night, breaking their hearts.  Jealousy and hate fill him, though his mother did nothing wrong. And he dispised Takari worst of all, for Zira only had eyes for him. After he gets into a fight with Taka and loses part of his ear, he and his mother are exiled. Their lives are hard, especially when they end up in the Land of Rogues and Thorns. She fights for them and wins- but at a terrible price. Her back is badly injured, making it impossible for them to journey more than an hour at a time. They do, however, finally get out of the accursed land, where young Redasa must hunt, fight off others, and still care for his mother, who gets progressivly worse.

Near her death, she doesn't want him to see, so she suggests he go hunt. While he is out, she falls asleep and leaves him alone. Coming back to her dead body nearly kills Redasa, who almost follows her same path, unable to keep food down.  But upon realizing she wouldn't want that, he buries her (he had kept her body cool, digging a shelter underground and sleeping with her corpse) and moves on.    . He journeys from land to land, ending up in the Coastals.

There his father is, and they stay together for several years, until he finds the call to return to his homelands, going to Pride Rock and finding Scar as king, and Zira as Queen. When he returns there, he gets a suspicious welcome. But he is allowed there.   When Scar goes out to take care of kingly business, Redasa begins to try and woo Zira. His hard work pays off, and he lays with her for a single night. However, come morning, she screams to the king of being 'forced'. Furious, Redasa fights her, tearing off a chunk of her ear before the pride can stop him. Banished once more, he goes back to the Coastlands, where his heart changes after meeting a beautiful off-white lioness, and he becomes an honorable lion; full of love, kindness and wisdom.  She bears him a single daughter, the sole heir to the throne when the king's mate dies in a battle. However, this child is not his only blood, for Zira concieved as well, giving birth to twins: Vitani and Kovu .
