Personality: Savannah is sweet at times but can also be a tough girl at times. She is stubborn and never gives up. She loves racing so much and always challenges her friends to a race. She adores feeling the wind ruffling her fur, but when it comes to fighting Savannah turns into a warrior. She gets grumpy if she can't fight with the others, as it makes her feel helpless. She has a never-ending mouth and sometimes doesn't know when to stop. However, when she is sorry she really means it, and her friends know this and have learnt to put up with it.

Likes: Running, the sun, fighting with the others, being seen as grown up and responsible

Dislikes: Evil, fire, others not trusting her, losing in a fight, being weak to some lions

History. Savannah was an accident. Tojo, her father, had a small crush on Kiara but knew that she loved Kovu. One day, however, a lion told him that he had to mate with Kiara or he would die. Tojo, in tears when he had to find Kiara, had no other option but to mate with her. He wanted to kill the lion who had forced him to mate with her but he had dissapeared. Tojo went away from the pride for a short while, but in this time Kiara discovered that she was pregnant with Tojo's cub. In tears, she went to find him and finally told him. Tojo was shocked and scared at the thought of becoming a father, and was afraid of Kovu in case he tried to kill him for stealing his mate, but he knew better than that. Kiara was scared of having this cub, and Tojo knew that he had to be with her. So he went back into the pridelands and explained the whole story to Kovu, who simply nodded and left. Kiara often kept with Kovu or Tojo, and at last the cub was born.

Savannah was quite a happy cub at first, she often played on her own as she did not want anything to do with the other cubs. In a way it was because she was jealous of them. They all had parents that loved each other. They would probably be so stuck up and stubborn, little spoilt know-it-all brats that thought anyone who wasn't like them was lowly and could only be fit to be a servant in the king's pride. So when they tried to make her play with them she walked off, her head and tail high in the air. But the news must have got around to Kiara because she sat her daughter down and gave her a Talk. Savannah yawned and fidgeted because it was very boring but Kiara made her listen. "Please Savannah, please some friends with the other cubs. They are very eager to get to know you." Savannah rolled her eyes and was finally aloud to go but then Tojo said the same thing to her about making friends. Once again Savannah rolled her eyes and walked off, but did think about what both of her parents had just said. So when the other cubs pleaded her to play Savannah played it cool but did accept. She soon found out that in fact the cubs were really nice, and made friends with some of them. Her best friends were called Leah and Taylor, both amazingly sporty. They would spend hours racing each other all around the place, then they would collapse on the soft grass when they were out of energy and swap jokes.

But then Kovu and Tojo got into an argument. Savannah was always afraid of Kovu, and kept out of her stepfather's way, so his behind Kiara when they argued. Soon the argument turned into a fight, and Tojo left. he hugged Savannah and promised to visit her some time. He was true to his word at first, but then Kovu found out and Tojo had another argument with him. He visited three times after that then never came. No matter how long Savannah waited for him he never came. She was partly angry at her father, since he had promised, but was mainly angry at Kovu for turning him away, although she didn't dare to say so. Kovu was intimidating so she kept out of her way. Kovu didn't understand why Savannah didn't seem to like him but Savannah never told him. She didn't tell Kiara, either. She only ever told Leah and Taylor.

As a teenager she made another best friend, someone called Paisley. She wasn't really as sporty as she was sure that she was terrible, but when they convinced her to play she was brilliant. However, one of her friends, Aisha, hated Paisley, and often agrued with her. Savannah had to keep them away from each other. Then Aisha left the pride to join another. Savannah didn't want her to go, but Aisha was stubborn and left anyway.

As a young adult Savannah found out that Paisley was with her mate's cubs. She was so thrilled when she had her cubs, but the excitement quickly turned to anger when Aisha attacked her to steal her cubs. Paisley fought bravely but died in the battle. Savannah, Leah and Taylor were passing when they saw Paisley being killed and Savannah charged into battle, her eyes ablaze. They fought long and hard and finally Aisha retreated, muttering dark threats. They asked Leah to take the cubs in, and she agreed.

Paisley's cubs were about six months old when Aisha struck again. This time she left with Paisley's daughter, still alive and well, but they managed to save the boy. Savannah wanted to go and rescue her, but when she attempted to Aisha threataned to kill her if they didn't back off. So Savannah retreated, keeping her brown eyes on the poor cub that had been snatched away from her home.

Leah was with her mate's cubs. Savannah thought that it was a bit unfair that all of her best friends had mates and she didn't. But she still congratulated her best friend when the cubs arrived. She vowed that she would protect them with her life.

But then a was started between Aisha's pride and Savannah's pride. Aisha wanted Leah's cubs, and although they fought her off Leah was weak and her wounds became infected. Then a fire started and Leah could not save herself. She died in the flames, asking Taylor to look after the cubs. Savannah felt deeply upset. Her second best friend's life had been taken away from her and it wasn't fair. Why her friends? Why did it all have to end like this?

Taylor was with her mate's cubs. At first Savannah stood outside the cave, waiting, but she was then called in. Taylor looked weak but her cubs were there. She smiled at Savannah weakly then gently croaked to her. "Look after my cubs." "No!" Savannah cried as Taylor's head fell. She buried her muzzle into her friend. "Goodbye." She whispered. Her last best friend had been ripped away from her. Savannah's heart broke. Could she not be with anyone who would not die? Why her? Did bad luck just run in the family? If so, was it on her mother's side or her father's side? Still, Savannah did not think that she could cope with all of these cubs. Taylor's were newborns, Leah's were six months old and Paisley's were teenagers. What next?

Savannah was walking near the gorge when she met a male lion. He seemed really nice, but when Savannah tried to get to know him it turned out he wasn't nice at all. Savannah wanted to get away from him but he cornered her, and forced her to mate with him. Savannah was terrified, and at last someone found her. Kovu and Adia, Scar and Sarafina's daughter, were walking past when they Savannah with the lion. They charged at him and leapt into battle. Savannah just stood there, shaking. The two lions fought the male off, but soon Savannah found herself with cubs. She was terrified, as she remembered the way her three best friends died. All because of their cubs. What was in store for her? Who would look after her cubs if she passed away?

Finally her cubs arrived, and Savannah named them Faith and Brook. Her two cubs were beautiful. But then Aisha came back. She tried to steal Savannah's cubs. But Savannah had promised herself to protect her cubs the way that her friends never could, and drove Aisha away with her cubs unharmed. Savannah took good care of her two cubs, and vowed to never let anything happen to them.

Kiara seemed thrilled to see her cubs, and Kovu even smiled at them. But Savannah only wished that Tojo was there to see them. She missed him so much. She kind of had Kovu now, and he only wanted what was best for her, but she couldn't help thinking that there was an empty space next to her where Tojo should have been. Her cubs would sadly never know their real grandfather. That must be the was it had to be then.

But one day, when her cubs were four months old, Savannah ran into an older lion. He had a brown mane and blue eyes. Savannah growled at him first, but then he spoke. "Savannah? Is that really you?" Savannah knew then that it was Tojo, and hugged him in delight. He hugged her back and nuzzled her cubs. He explained about how he wanted to come back, but there were complications with other prides. Savannah didn't pay attention, she was just happy that he was back. Kovu came along but invited Tojo back into the pride, and the lion accepted. Savannah wanted a mate of her own but that could wait for a little longer. She had her cubs and was complete.
